But it is a very scarce way of looking at things; that you need those top managers. RDM won the CL and FA, in less then 4 months on the job. Carlo and Mou couldn't win us the CL with many years on the job, but they are better managers with better careers. I just believe that situation and fit should dictate your manager hiring not based on who has the best CV. If we take this approach we will be very successful.
Barca was one example, i can name many examples of successful managers in successful situations.

Exactly. As I said a few weeks ago, it's like their is a dirty black cloud above Stamford Bridge and it's name is José Mourinho. All of his negative (and sometimes disgraceful) antics, as well as his general moodiness, has come home to roost and it has infected the entire club. I don't see this mood leaving as long as he is here.

I understand how many view the result and performance as an improvement, i agree with that. However, with how much we have invested into the squad, it is almost mortifying how bad/anti-football we play with all the talent in our disposal.
