Who would have thought. The CL returns to the Bridge at long long last and there is no real and proper excitement. So sad what has happened to the club. We used to look forward to these nights as proper European nights. The owners and Maresca have made me feel ‘meh’.

Will digital tickets stop the touts?
Fulham Broadway replied to fronty's topic in Chelsea Tickets & Travel
It will curtail the geezers outside the ground - which will free up the selling of tickets at vastly inflated prices to overseas tourists -something BlueCo have been doing -
That sounds like Fox News.

yes I probably will not watch the game.

I really don't care anymore, this fucking club owners have drained me. Instead of improving this season we've regressed, I can't believe that the have refused to bring at least one top quality CB and a decent GK. If we lose tonight then I really hope it's the end for Maresca if not then certainly I hope Saturday

Never lost to them before -won every time. But tonight is so unpredictable...

Its just more colonialism. Like squatters living in your house, theyve smashed everything up, and murdered your kids. They then expect you to accept their terms on gradually leaving your house, getting a neighbour to run your house, without consulting you. Just a thought, maybe actually involve Palestinians in what happens to their land and people...

Seems like an agreement in place but up to Hamas, which they never cared for their people getting killed. What to know about the Gaza peace plan agreed to by Trump and Netanyahu https://apnews.com/article/gaza-israel-hamas-palestinians-peace-plan-ce2e84de8aa5fd308fe751ae9c3118e8

Likewise I want him to continue, I did expect a bad start to the season because of the summer we had. However I do expect the end of the season to be strong. If it doesn't then he merits review at the end of the season.

But if you go by that then we should also apply that same criteria to our previous trophy.... In the end you play against who you play. It's not our fault that we played benfica in which they had already eliminated someone else. Or as well that city got eliminated by a Arabian team in which turn lost to the Brazilians. That is who we got to play because the suppose stronger lost to the one we beat.

It'll be our first game tonight using the new digital tickets, it looks like they're using a rotating QR code so a screenshot or PDF won't work, which makes me wonder how will the touts get around this? How will tourists get a ticket? One would hope that this means there are more tickets available for non-STH punters like myself and my lad, but based on my recent experience, PL games are still incredibly difficult to get even with true blue membership.

Sounds like a manager issue to be honest. Now we’re reliant on one player or the system breaks down? Maybe use your other defenders and have someone who can step into the role even at a reduced capacity. Yes our CBs and GK are weak but you shouldn’t be losing these winnable games over teams we have a massive talent advantage over.
-
Classic Jose. Usual bullshit before a game. Good job he’s not the manager he was 10-15 years ago because he’d have a game plan that would absolutely kill us drawn up. Will be a difficult game regardless with our half hearted mob.

We had Colwill available last season and we saw how pissed Maresca was after Colwill got that training ground injury, he kept saying that the CB role Colwill was playing was crucial for his system. Sometimes that is all it takes, one bad injury and the whole defensive line starts to collapse. Also, this season, Sanchez got sent off against United in the first few minutes. As an experienced keeper, he really should know better than leaving his team down to 10 men.

Summerville is an outstanding player, what a game he is having here
-
It's just dumb. George ended up staying, imagine if we invested the gittens money into a cb and sold and replaced sanchez , suddenly got a good squad
-
CHO is understandeble and even pulisic would be if his replacement was a world class player but we choose the wrong targets incredible really
-
The main cause of those losses and draws would have been the team's inability to score more goals, we scored less than Brighton and Brentford and even scored the same as Spurs. We only conceded 2 more than Liverpool.
-
Even before the weekend's results, I felt they had the best squad. Physically matching up to and beating Newcastle away is the stuff of dreams here at Chelsea.

1-1 draw i think
