Share Posted June 30, 2015 Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will unveil his remarkable vision for the future of the Premier League champions on Tuesday. #CFCThe rebuilt 60,000 stadium Roman wants is to be a cathedral of football, paying homage to the club’s history at their one & only venue #CFCThis attention to detail for the rebuilt stadium has even included researching the exact shade of the original Chelsea blue. #CFC (Mail)Abramovich is conducting the whole ambitious project as a separate entity run by his people away from Chelsea Football Club business. (Mail)It would see Chelsea spend three seasons playing at a temporary home, with Wembley and Twickenham two possibilities. #CFC (Mail)Supporters leaving the new Stamford Bridge will be able to gain quicker access to Fulham Broadway station. #CFC (Mail)The building of a new stadium would at least guarantee the Abramovich ownership dynasty. #CFC (Mail)The Abramovich dynasty (1/3): "Part of Roman’s reasons for wanting to spend the best part of another billion pounds on #CFC is to...The Abramovich dynasty (2/3): "...eventually hand over a stadium fit for a European football superpower to his eldest son..." #CFC (Mail)The Abramovich dynasty (3/3): "...21-year-old Arkadiy, who has inherited his father’s love of Chelsea Football Club." #CFC (Mail) Viper22, Term-X, Sosuke Aizen and 3 others

Fulham Broadway 17,317
I was worried we might lose the intimidating close to the pitch atmosphere, but after a bit of research it looks like the stands will be at the minimum UEFA distance from the playing field at 7.5m all tech way around.Wembley is 18m*Emirates is 13.8m*Etithad is 12.1m*(Proposed) White Hart Lane is 8.2m**these are behind the goal distances, couldn't find the gap for the sides xPetrCechx, Sidzeret, nachikethas and 1 other

Viper22 2,418
Even if we sign Reus, Bale and Varane this transfer window this news about the stadium and these fantastic pictures will still be the best thing i've heard about this summer.Gorgeous, unique and iconic. Chelsea Buzz 487
This is awesome!! Hope plans are finalized by January 2016 so the project could begin by fall 2016, which would mean 2016-17 through 2018-19 elsewhere and 2019-20 at the new palace Any potential time lines been discussed? DYC. 7,542
Simply put, that looks incredibly dope.'Son, I'm buying you a stadium'. Imagine that. Sidzeret
BlueLyon 9,359
I liked battersea idea, but Im much more happy with this idea. Iconic and most of all, staying in same place. And decisions like this is reason why Roman is the best owner ever. He is a blue. Sidzeret 2,257
not expandable beyond 60k That's a bummer. So, eventually we are gonna need a new stadium. Our fan-base is going gonna grow bigger.
DavidEU 2,023
That's a bummer. So, eventually we are gonna need a new stadium. Our fan-base is going gonna grow bigger.Don't see any London clubs ever going above 60/65k anyway. And we'll increase capacity from 60 once safe-standing is bought in. OhForAGreavsie 6,075
I liked battersea idea, but Im much more happy with this idea. Iconic and most of all, staying in same place. And decisions like this is reason why Roman is the best owner ever. He is a blue.I just didn't like the look of Battersea with the chimney stacks incorporated but, generally speaking, I was in favour of a new site. I felt that was the best way to ensure we could build exactly what we needed and not just a compromised bodge. For example, I love the view from the East Stand but the west stand is a better place to watch from. Now, if I understand the plans correctly, the west is going to be rebuilt with the same rake as the current east stand. That's to say it'll be just as steep*. I know a lot of people don't feel comfortable in the east stand because of that steepness. There are bound to be other compromises too like seat spacing perhaps.Assuming we get planning permission for these plans, the debate about moving or staying is over so no sense rehashing all of that. If we are to stay, then these proposals look far better than I feared they might. If we can realise them the stadium will be great.*Somewhere in the back of my mind I have the thought that the rake of the east stand would no longer pass building regs. Can't recall where I might have got that from but, because of that, I was surprised to read that the new west stand would be built along the same lines. Does anyone know more/better?
