The Mourinho Thread

I'm not talking about today, I'm talking about the games before it. When was the last time we kept a clean sheet? All the way back to May 3rd (including preseason)? Even with Mikel/Ramires/Zouma we will eventually concede. And the game will open, eventually.

the fact that we have played only 2 real football games since may 3rd means nothing? pool, wba and sunderland were dead rubbers. no one cared.

pre-season friendlies are not something to judge on. if that was the case then barca should have a disastorous season.

we might eventually concede. but lets look at the odds. for 2 years, we have not lost a single game against the top 4 (united, city, arsenal, pool). we try to play with cesc-matic in the mid and try to play offensive football, we lose to both arsenal and city. i dont think i that u need to be a rocket scientist to know what exactly the problem is here.

Expand please? Respect your opinion bro that's why I'm asking.

You really MouOut? I wasn't sure if you were sure. I don't want him to leave, he just needs to accept what he's doing isn't working, he needs different players if he wants to play a high line with high pressing. But if things keep going like this, he may well be fired.

I just don't feel the same. It may very well be the alcohol and emotions talking but he doesn't seem the same. He looks like he's losing it.

The whole club is losing it, arguments with the medical staff, delusional about performance and now criticizing JT? Not looking good.

Yup, i instantly thought the same when looking at the post game interview. He looks so jaded and out of it motivation wise.

I think he lost the team .....

Hold on...you mentioned pre-season friendlies are not something to be judged on, yet you used the Arsenal game to backup your statement?

Defensive/counter-attacking football will not always make you win games. ESPECIALLY when we can't score. If the players aren't sharp on their jobs (Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill), it doesn't matter if we park the bus, we will concede.

And this offensive football attempt today shows how long we have ever tried it. Hopefully, with the right players we can make this right.

P.S - And for Barca, well they DID lose 4-0 the other day...

so u want us to revamp the squad with "right players" on august 16th. seems fair enough.

defensive/counter attacking football will not always win you games, but they stopped us from losing games before. get the difference? if the players are not sharp on the jobs then they need even more cover from others. after what montero did to ivanovic, what did u think was going to happen when sterling went 1v1? iva needed someone to double up with him. we needed strength in the middle of the park along with bodies to cover for JT and GC. we did not do any of those things. and the result is in front of u.

i am using the arsenal match cos for 1 whole year jose did not play cesc-matic pivot in the big match. the 1st time itself was a disaster and more than a clear indication of shit that pivot is

Munich isn't a Jose team...

PSG is more molded to Jose if they get rid of Zlatan

He will join MLS next season he confirmed a few weeks back. Also they worked well with each other at Inter anyway and he said he would 'die' for him

City also had the same players from last season, pretty much.

The Chelsea same players excuse doesnt exist.

Jose needs to learn to play attacking football or i can see a tough season coming ahead.

Make players train to play in an attacking style, and dont always set them up not to lose, thats how players lose their creativity, pace and direction.

Get you shit together and man up Jose.
