fuck martinez and everton, stupid twat doesn't understand the simple concept of the football food chain, we are near the top, they are near the middle... we poach players from the middle of this totem pole, they poach players from the low end of this totem pole... martinez is just a deluded fool who doesn't understand his team's place in the hierarchy, all the things he's been complaining about i.e poaching players from smaller teams, bidding for players while the season has already started, openly pursuing targets... he does but to teams even lower down the chain

In any case, hopefully they get fucked and never receive an offer like that for him again and he is eventually sold for much less...

Exclusive: Everton tell PSG £50m not enough for Coleman after shock bid from French champs

EVERTON have told billionaires Paris St-Germain that not even a £50m bid will persuade them to sell Seamus Coleman.

If Everton would have had Ronaldo or Messi they would ask, more or less, 850 pounds to start negotiating....

Come on! these clowns don't live in the real world!

The Star is the worse of the British newspapers and that's saying something. It's got a couple of pages of sport and the rest is gossip and reality tv bullshit. Don't bother posting anything from there Supporter it's got no credibility.

Martinez deserves some respect.... ''It seems like money can buy anything these days and clearly what we stand for at Everton is more important values — in football and in life — that they are more important than money.”

Does he fuck. So Real, Barca, Man City offer you a lucrative contract tomorrow, and you'd turn it down because of 'more important values'. Lying twat.

Seriously now, f*ck Everton and that c*nt Martinez, keep Stones you w*nkers :wank2::wank2::wank2: , won´t be suprised if Stones plays like shit for them now, but that would be too unprofessional of him and yet Everton fans have the nerve to call Chelsea a small club lol have you looked in the mirror lately? don´t worry you lot won´t ever win anything, you are nothing but a feeder club. You and most of Liverpool fans are one of a kind, merseyside w*nkers and c*nts. Sorry for the outburst, i may have exagerated, anyway cheers.

Pretty much. He's very arrogant for a manager who's won next to fuck all and a relegation to his name. He's either stupid and believes his own bullshit of being able to turn Everton into a 'big team', or he's simply spiteful and wants to keep Stones for Everton's sake so they can underdeveloped him.

Stones' biggest games of the year will come against the top 4 and that will be it. No Barcelona, no Munich, no Juventus, no quality European football whatsoever and no Terry or Mourinho. Do you get to be truly world class if you're not developed at the top level? I don't think so. They are welcome to him. Zouma is already ahead of him and everyone will see the gulf between the two in the next few years.

Nothing wrong with Martinez trying to keep his best players, we would have done the same. He is doing what is best for the team and not giving away players just due to a high bid. Even though he knows that they can't be but atlas he is trying to make Everton a top team. Appreciate this guys efforts instead of calling him stupid

That is all well and good until the player wants to stay, if the player wants to leave...well not so good.

£35-40m spent correctly would push Everton much further up the table than keeping John Stones - Stones isn't a one-man army. The only player that had the chance of single-handedly turning Everton into a top team was Rooney.

We wouldn't do the same. If we had a player hand in a transfer request we'd negotiate for a high fee and sell him.

Feel really bad for Stones who's done everything the right way (played when the manager told him, didn't say anything to the public, no agent shenanigans, no mysterious 'injuries' and no claiming his head isn't at the club) because he's been treated like an absolute mug by Everton and Martinez.

It's nothing personal for him but I really hope he has a really poor season now and gets sold next summer (even if it isn't to us) for like £10-15M and Everton will be left wondering "what if" like Swansea are now after they decided not to sell Michu for £20-25M after that 1 season wonder he had.

I've said it before and I say it again, never EVER loan Everton a player ever again and if both them and another club want one of our players always accept the offer from the other club. If it's just them after one of our players then double the asking price and still make them wait on us accepting it. This has been Levy levels of Douchebaggery from Martinez and has been Liverpool fan levels of Scumbaggery from the fans.

Really poor show from everyone involved at Everton and I hope they look back one day and are ashamed at their actions.

Chelsea is often termed classless but when was the last time we kept a player against their will? This is the club that sold their 2 time PoTY winner to a competitive rival and one of it's modern day icons to a regional rival, the latter out of respect for said player's wishes. That's pretty rare ... but doesn't fit the narrative, obviously.

This is the polar opposite to us respecting a player's wishes (see: Cech) and the money involved is so ridiculous that it changes things. The transfer request has made it clear that Stones wants to leave and Martinez is essentially saying he doesn't care what Stones wants.

This would be like Real Madrid bidding like £120M for Costa or £160M for Hazard. I love both of those players but if we received bids like that I (and I would wager most Chelsea fans on here) would be all for us accepting and using that ridiculous amount of money to sign all of the targets we required and a replacement that would probably be almost as capable.

Wouldn´t be surprised if Man United or City came calling for Stones and Everton spreaded their legs just to piss us off, just wait and see. It seems United sold Evans to West Brom, be prepared for a United raid for Stones.

RM came out and said what we did was disrespectful to player and club by lodging the first bid and putting it out there. How the fuck in todays media age are clubs meant to be secret in a bid for a player? If your high profile now a days you can't take a swig of lager without the press knowing.

If Martinez just said he wants to keep their best players, that's fine. But he spins it as a moral crusade about standing up to the big bad club taking the best players from smaller clubs. Well surely that means Everton doesn't buy the best players from smaller clubs than them, right? Oh right.

I don't disagree that the transfer window should close when the season starts, but isn't it ironic that both RM and Pulis are the two that are having a fanny fit over it the most. This isn't new, this is something that has been going on for a long time now.

Everton are trying to duplicate their red friends....ya know, victims!!

Martinez hasn't been around a big club so he wouldn't know.
