BlueLion. 21,491
With all the players we're allegedly close to signing, we could put a monkey Avram Grant in charge and still win something.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Some people are saying (on twitter so yes hardly 100% reliable) that the Monday after Turkey game Hiddink will be unveiled, however he will actualyl sign to become manager during the coming week, so before Turkey game, maximum of 2yrs deal and then move to DoFSounds plausible to me, but didnt Hiddink say he wont decide anything until at least Turkey Belgium game? Which is why Im a little sceptical about the rumour.Plus, what if Turkey win? Does the man always "loyal" to his contracts then do a runner to manage us? hmmmm

chrismada9 1,948
I wouldn't be putting in a fair bet if I said that if Barcelona win the Champions League, Guardiola will leave the club. It may seem bizarre, but Mourinho did that when Porto won it in 2004, some few weeks later, he was appointed our manager, so who's to say we're not in for deja vu here?? chrismada9 1,948
I certainly wouldn't object Viva la BarcaI'm not in the slghtest bit bothered, it just sprang to mind! There are a host of other managers linked with the vacant job, like Redknapp and Hiddink (and Mourinho) all with massive possibility of taking the reigns. Any good rumor that comes up just proves that we're close of getting someone sooner rather than later, which means we can then start to think about what type of players we're going to bring in over the summer. Ollie 4,400
Bet its neither Hiddink, Valla-Boas, Mourinho or Van Basten. I remember when Ranieri was named Chelsea manager.... i was like what the fuck and who the fuck and why the fuck quite frankly. He had just relegated Atletico madrid the season before (With JFH lmao). 4 years on, he left SB unfairly and loved by all of us. Just prepare for a shock. We don't do things the easy way or the normal way.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
No it's not.I think itll be hiddink, however much i think id be under whelmed by it tbh. May get slated for this but I dont want him - rather see someone young come inEdit: But I will add people still claiming its Redknapp... especially seeing as there has been no denials from either party

Yeah because he was here for 4months, knew he was leaving after it, has absolutely no pressure and no fear of the sack. He will have to manage us in a completely different attitude/way. With regards to someone saying Guardiola, he probably wouldnt do that well with us, especially without Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Villa etc even Avram Grant could lead Barca to La Liga title

Ollie 4,400
Harry Redknapp is favourite with some bookmakers and he's Frank Lampard's uncle. I'd actually be excited to see Harry, he's the single best manager i've ever seen improving teams and in the transfer market. That would be a very good move imo. And Yids aren't in the UCL, we'll get Gareth Bale for sure and maybe Modric. Interesting..... He also plays the right way and gives youth a chance.
