Guest justin_3d
And that is why i want Van Basten, but no one here seems to agree with me. He is the only manager we're linked to now (except Pep) that gives the youth a chance, Hiddink doesn't either.Yeah i said i was ok with him, as long as he played youth. EskWeston 696
To be honest i would just like to see a young manager with something to prove given the chance to build something at Chelsea. No idea who that person is though.

EskWeston 696
Van Basten To me it seems that Van Basten with Hiddink as DOF is most likely. And whilst i wouldn't be doing cartwheels at the appointment i would be more than willing to see how it goes without complaining about the appointment. Going for experienced managers clearly isn't always a gurantee for success

Going for experienced managers clearly isn't always a gurantee for successI seem to remember Van Basten when the Dutch manager encouraging Robben to leave us ..H e stated that playing in the PL would shorten Robben's playing career .. Not the ideal statement if he is trying to sign players for us.

steve5221 91
Wasnt there rumours yesterday that Redknapp was seen at Cobham and some even claim to have seen him leaving the Bridge? Highly unlikely tbh, anyone heard anymore on this? Is he still odds on?The sun had a big article on him being the next manager, that has now been removed. His odds have gone out again from 4/6 to 6/4. Something has happended today, but i can't find any news about it on the big sites...
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
I have seen on a Spurs forum, well someone linked it, but they're saying he is still odds on with some bookies and they're convinced its happening. I dont know odds as ive said before so whats the deal with betting suspended? Is it the Bookies panicking that they'll have to pay out loads if it happens... or they know something we don't?Edit: If his odds have gone from 4/6 to 6/4 wouldnt that mean either us, Spurs or Redknapp himself, even a representative have denied it, thus meaning bookies have decided to lengthen his odds as it is now not happening

We Hate Scouse 10,326
Harry Redknapp's in the studio tomorrow for ITV. I'm sure something will be said about this, will be interesting to see what he has to say...
T.T. 1,534
If they suspend bets on something then it is practically 100% it will happen.I cant agree. They are just hedging their bets in case they get hammered by somebody in the know.I really cant see Harry being Chelsea manager.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
This is latest from Spuds website Bit of a mate of a mate of a mate story, but my boss has just had a text saying solicitors are finalising Redknapp's contract to Chelsea. Friend claims to know one of the solicitors involved. No idea how reliable, but thought I'd share.I know a certain website rhyming with hole.nom cant be mentioned on here, but they got a redknapp story on there, although they are probably 0.1% in reliablility

diskoviolente 425
No to Redknapp ! This guy doesn´t know anything about tactics. He just gambles on his strongest team. Oh god, please no, I don´t want to see that smug in our dugout....
Fulham Broadway 17,311
I dont think there will be an announcement for a while yet.The betting patterns suggest twitchy redknob isnt the man, as he'd be fixing it.Gonna have a wedge on another pensioner, Hiddink.
