Paul Lambert officially the new Aston Villa manager.

Really good appointment for them in my eyes. Certainly better than the last one!

Disappointed with that TBH. Said he was happy at Norwich and even tore into a journalist in a PC for questioning the rumours linking him with Villa and now, he's off to Villa.

Can't see what he can achieve at Villa that he can't do at Norwich. The Villa squad is the weakest in a long time. Darren Bent and maybe Albrighton are the only quality players

Gonna be given a 20 million transfer kitty by Randy Lerner apparently.

It makes sense for him personally. Might as well move to a bigger club before 'second season syndrome' kicks in. With Grant Holt moving as well, Norwich suddenly look very capable of going down next season.

Same with Swansea really. Unless they get in a decent manager, safe to say they might very well get relegated.

Speaking of that, thought Zola might be good fit for Swansea. Likes to play attacking football and the blueprint is already there for him to do so.

They are. Was just a suggestion mentioning Zola. Gonna be a risk if they hire Jones who has yet to manage a club, let alone one in the Premier League.

Not sure if there is a big difference in doing that. After all, Swansea just got promoted last season. However, it would be hilarious to see Dave Whelan going to the media and reporting every single move of Martinez again.
