Magic Lamps 11,692
About time. Will be interesting to see, how Fergie's departure will influence ManUtd ability to win titles with an average squad. Green Lantern18

Why sit and play second fiddle for a year when he can be earning boat loads of cash elsewhere and be the main guy?

I mean, what is there to lose?It is not like he will do any better with Everton than he already has (they wont win a trophy and they wont finish top4). However, with Manure, he will be able to learn from SAF and challenge for titles. Also, he will have no pressure at all, because nobody will be expecting him to be as successful as they once were and he will have a 4-5 year excuse to use due to Fergie's late first title... No way he's getting a top managerial job in England after this season so his options would pretty much be to either sign a new contract at Everton or accept a good assistant role at Manchester United for two years tops and then taking over as number one.Just hope they don't suddenly try to hijack Mourinho. xPetrCechx and Rmpr

Can see where you're coming from but it would seem rather difficult for Moyes to start doing that suddenly when he's been so comfortable at being manager for years now.Just to add in too, he has previously mentioned his liking for the Bundesliga and given Schalke have a vacancy at the end of the season, he might consider going there. English Freak 456
Wigan are going down. They won't beat a desperate Arsenal.
English Freak 456
Erm, we might go get and appoint Moyes as our next manager... hopefully Moyes stays at Everton. His record against the stronger EPL sides is fairly poor and he's got no experience for UCL football.Moyes would probably end up like Hughes (at City) if he joined Chelsea...he'd suddenly have a massive amount to spend, wouldn't know what to do...he'd be overwhelmed. Martina 210
Sir Alex Ferguson must leave Manchester United completely when he decides to retire If Ferguson is to go, it will not be a surprise to his employers. They will have been working at it for some time, identifying potential candidates. He himself will want to be part of the process.Hints of inside thinking has been there in questions raised by senior figures about some of those reckoned in with a chance, about Jose Mourinho’s fondness for politicking or David Moyes’s lack of big-budget experience. Now the talk can no longer be about those who don’t fit, but the one who does. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/10042888/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-must-leave-Manchester-United-completely-when-he-decides-to-retire.html
Martina 210
Mourinho 6/4 for Man Utd post Jose Mourinho has been backed in from 20/1 to 6/4 to be the next Manchester United manager amid speculation that Sir Alex Ferguson is considering his position. Borussia Dortmund's highly-rated manager Jurgen Klopp is the third favourite, coming in from 20/1 to 8/1 with some backing, while Ryan Giggs is 20/1 alongside Mike Phelan. Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: "We saw a surge of backing for David Moyes to be the next Manchester United manager on Saturday despite no real noises surrounding Ferguson's future but, with a national paper now reporting that an announcement could be made before the end of the week, Mourinho is now attracting the majority of the money. "The 'Special One' looked destined to return to Stamford Bridge, but if the job at Old Trafford became vacant then his head could be turned." http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/8698336/mourinho-6-4-for-man-utd-post
