Spurs really do have a nice looking squad now, it has to be said. Great striker up top, plenty of steel in the middle with Dier and Wanyama, creative sparks like Eriksen, Dele Alli, and Lamela, probably the best CB partnership in the league, and good, modern fullbacks in Rose and Walker. World class keeper too.

Could see Leicester breaking our record for worst title defense ever.

One loss down...11 more to go lol....then again were amazingly awful and was unexpected.Them doing it be more of a expected event..Though cant see them doing as bad we'll probably have that unwanted record for a while.Long as we dont come close this season to similar position and all...

City v Sunderland was so boring. Dull football in front of probably one of the worst support in the league. First match of the season, every football fan waited for this for months, Guardiola is now the manager, they've invested over £160m in transfers this summer. Still that stadium is half empty or an absolute graveyard. Heard that there was even radio adverts with tickets on general sale for this game. Amazing.

Was expecting something else from Guardiola, more urgency upfront, take the league by storm, show the people he's arrived here and ready. But instead it was sluggish and any other team with a bit more talent and a decent manager would have taken something from this game.

And David Moyes - what an idiot. I'm not saying Djilobodji is the 2nd coming of Beckenbauer, but he's had a full pre-season under Conte and ready to step in. What Moyes does? Brings in that donkey Paddy McNair. Not only he's a fucking tool, but scores an own goal, too.

With teams not being in their optimum form we will see a lot of dull boring games or blowout.

The good tactical match will start from October and onward. Giving that if teams do buy in the market those new players need time to adjust as well.

Yeah..the crowd's reaction,.(or more so, the lack of it) after Sunderland had equalized was as if they were losing their third game in a row or something.

Their play was not that special today...Sterling tried something different, Stones kept misplacing passes...and now they have that weird goalkeeping issue with Hart being dropped.

But tbf, its probably going to take at least a few more games, or maybe even this entire season before Guardiola can leave his footprint on the club. And he did say that their first few game might be something like this

The Premier League this season on paper looks short of quality. Take West Brom, Swansea and Southampton and Stoke eighth to 12th, then the likes of Burnley, Palace, Hull, Boro, Watford, Bournemouth, Sunderland all could possibly be fighting relegation. Take all those teams and you wonder how on earth the TV deals go for such astronomical amounts of money. This is not a Chelsea fan being smug and superior but when Leicester won the league and enormous credit to them doesn't that show that the league isn't that great ?. Man United won the league in Fergie's last season with a very average team we after the loss to Spurs played the end justifies the means football when we won the league in 2015.
