I don't think you can compare juve to madrid because you cannot compare ac milan to barca.

Milan is a good team but they are nothing compare to barca. Juventus has drawn so many games this season but they are still on top of the league. That will not happen if you have barcelona in your league.

Yeah but the concept is still the same.

This guy is coming over here with some outrageous claim that City will dominate the league for years to come base on what assumption?

Cause they got loads of money?

Come on men, if you watch this sport how can you say such shit????

Teams with less budget have managed to make good runs.

I just gave you the example of Barcelona, then I just gave you the example of Juventus, and now I will give you the example of Borrusia Dormund.

Teams that have not had to spend big money to acquire success.

His rationale is that of a little child!

Only delusional Madrid fans will think they done good over the past few years after spending so much money

Real Madrid are a super club, in every sense of the word, they are the biggest football organisation in world football history.

There is no such thing in football. Not without having a personality that will have a huge impact on world football. And that's certainly not going to happen with Manchester's 2nd biggest club. Get real.

Ironic, because that is their USP, 'the manchester derby'. It's something we lack as a football club, that big rivalry with another 'top' team. QPR, Fulham & Spurs don't count. Fans will gravitate towards them once they start picking up trophies, marketing will take care of the rest. The criminal deal with Etihad has sealed it for City, bypassing the FFP was the turning point.

This is a sad day for English football...... city will blow everyone away.

Indeed, United winning the league this season changes nothing, City winning it.. changes everything.

Totally agree, but what does that got to do with what I said?

Your flaw argument means nothing. It does not changes anything!

I don't think man city will dominate but as long as they spend they will contend.

Will they win every year ? I don't think so. But they will contend for epl crown every year

Yeah I agree, they will be a potential contender for the tittle like they where this season, and nothing more.

But people who think they will dominate just cause they got loads of money....well as Mourinho put it: " They know nothing about character, about effort, about a team with 10 men resisting tactically, physically everything"

Money will not buy you the passion, and pride for the club.

To leave everything out there on the field.

To have great chemistry with your peers.

To go that extra mile for your teammates.

They know nothing!

Yet that very "Manchester" part of their name is what IMO will keep them from reaching the status (and the myriad benefits that stem from it) of the biggest Manchester club.

It's really as simple as not dreading of any kind of long term European domination from the likes of Atletico Madrid or Espanyol, as disrespectful as this might sound.

On a sidenote I'm genuinely disturbed by witnessing myself agree with Justin and argue with Terminator X on this matter.

If they win..they'll spend..if they dont..they'll spend so either way be changed at the club. And who knows if they loose maybe their board wont be as impatient as ours and keep Manchini on..that way theres still the stablity regardless of a trophy or not.And money cant buy you trophies..up to the manager to make the players gel together just ebcause you have a bunch of big names doesnt mean results.City have a few big names and they havent exactly run off with the league. On their day anyone can beat anyone

If they fail to win for say 3 years in a row coming close then the menality may change but after one shot?Be surprised.Cant imagin them going into the league like its already lost

And besides when we won it that time and looked to dominate, teams around us going stronger so it never happened and really Man U will always be the dominating team until Fergie goes. Not amazing players or played well yet in with a shot. And wouldnt mind them winning so much if some of their results werent due to completly dodgy decisons.Know we got a few but for them...seems to be majoirty of the time!

All matters end of the day is our results...

Still always intresting to hear 'Man U' fans with London accents ring into the radio saying how Fergie should go...
