Yeah I remember @Vesper and I a couple years back that predicted this. So far its come to fruition.

The main point was that the basis of Liverpool's success under Klopp was the sale of Coutinho, which funded them VVD, Salah, Fabinho, Allison, etc. It was evident they would need this kind of funding to replace them and FSG are too skint with the Red Sox to care.

I was worried when they signed Diaz and appeared to be getting Tchoameni but yeah that does look like being the case.

I do highly rate the former though, if Liverpool are going back to Rodgers/Kenny/early Klopp days hopefully he doesn't waste his prime years there.

Pool will go balls deep for Bellingham and other MFers

and try for Leao too perhaps

they need a CB for sure too

The depth issue is what I’m hanging my hopes on with Arse. An extended injury to Jesus or Odegaard or Saliba and they’re in real trouble. Unlike City who have the insane squad depth to sustain their top level through an entire grueling season, Arse won’t be able to maintain this super high energy style the whole way.

We just have to keep winning and reel them in. One or two poor results and they’ll start to crumble hopefully.

No, you are right. Arsenal will crumble when the going gets tough and they are missing key players. But still they have improved mentally. Just last season they would have easily crumbled today and on various other occasions after being pegged back but they kept their composure and scored again. They will never win the title vs this city side but they look better than liverpool, ManUre and tbh us for most of the season so far. Can definitely see them make top 4.

Definitely and they've played Liverpool,Spurs,Man U and although lost to Man U have only lost one game and still top...they won't be top don't think at the end but don't think they'll go on a rapid decline unless something drastic happens.

This Forest-Aston Villa games giving me some serious Champo-vibes. Nottingham I feel they bought too many players.. Doesn't feel like a team. Gerrard seems out of idea aswell.

Think it was Fulham or another newly promoted side a few seasons ago that did the same thing in terms of buying a whole new XI and there was zero chemistry all season and they got relegated.
