So the lucky number is 14. If the club can fill 14 first team players into the squad, they are eligible to play. 

Without a shadow of a doubt, United were able to field 14 players during the two games they got postponed.

What's even worse, is that any youth players that made a first team appearance this year, are now eligible to be a first team player. So teams who are injury stricken and were forced to play youth players, are now receiving the shit end of the stick.
