God it would be off the scale fucking brilliant if West Ham got relegated those 55,000 crowds would half overnight. All those Essex halfwits watching in a half empty stadium with the dildo brothers and that Tory whore Karen Brady getting their comeuppance for ripping off the London taxpayer

Wow, you need to watch the start of the Man City game. Kompany should have seen a red card inside 2 minutes. HOW ON EARTH IS THAT NOT A SENDING OFF????

thats a red card all day long, clear goal scoring opportunity Vardy was off and running, Stones wasn´t even going to catch him, typical FA, you can bet if it was on of our players making that foul it would have been a straight red, scum refs and FA

Comparing your own poor record with others just to make yourself look good is just daft. At least Mourinho has won a number of away games against the big sides over the years. How many has Pochettino won as Spurs manager? 1 in 17 and if we want to be choosy, that came against an ailing Man City side under Pellegrini. Said this before, when the spotlight is on Spurs, when they are expected to do something good, they choke. Last season's FA Cup semi-final, that West Ham game in May, the match at Wembley in August, their match at United last month and the Arsenal game today. Those were the times they were supposedly going to win and turn up the heat on others but every single time, they bottled it. All this novelty of building a team for the future, playing good football etc will only last for so long because if they don't do the business in the league, if they don't win trophies, it's all going to fall apart and players will leave at some point.

out of that Tottenham team i would gladly have Eriksen and Kane at Chelsea

Seeing talk about City wanting both Rose and VVD still. They'd literally be taking the piss out of the football world. They'd have a defense alone that's more expensive than most top teams' entire XI's. They're literally buying success with zero repercussion.

They are spending more rationally now that's giving them a pass. 5 players for £250m instead of PSG's route & they actually made a profit IIRC.

Rationally? Nearly every player they buy now is £50m. Sterling, KDB, Walker, Stones, Mendy. Rose & Van Dijk would be around that each. They'll probably still want Sanchez, too.

Have you seen the current market? 50m is considered value nowadays

Are you being sarcastic. I don't recally many 50m+ signing last season except the one being done by City
Nope. I'm talking about fees in general around Europe have risen & these types of fees are looked at in the same way.

Lukaku, Morata, Chamberlain, Dembele, Lacazette to name a few that cost close to that or more. In addition, Mendy was the only player that cost over £50m that City signed over the summer.

Lukaku,Morata,Lacazette fee are strikers, it is normal for striker transfer fee to be 50 or more. We signed Torres for 50 m, and it was a while ago.

Chamberlain fee was around 35. Our signing are all less than 50 except Morata. United are all less than 50 except Lukaku, Arsenal all less than 50 excpet Lacazette, Spurs all less than 50.

City signed Mendy and Walker both for 50 m plus I think B. Silva was around 47.5 m.

50 m is not the new normal.

This City is like Chelsea under Mou in his 1st term. At that point we outspent everybody on the transfer market

I never said £50m is the new norm, but it's a fee that is touted almost everywhere nowadays for most players. It doesn't raise eyebrows like it did when he signed Torres.

City will get a pass along as they aren't spending 50m+ on multiple players & making a profit (https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/nov/08/manchester-city-record-revenues-accounts-wages-2016-17).

It is funny if you just listen to the media you will think that there is no chance for teams like Arsenal but looking at the table there is very little that separate the 7th spot Burnley with 22 points and the 2nd spot United with 26 points.

The only team that is running away right now is City

I think the Burnley surprised everyone, but we can't compare tham to the "big". But yes, I agree with the media, there isn't a chance for teams like Arsenal (maybe only this year) because the city is running us hell ...
