The tone of interviewer is also very provocative, like he deliberately is triggering Pep to answer emotionally in a reactive way. Way worse than Shreeves telling Ivanovic he won't be in the CL final.

This season is crazy.  Looked up some stats after seeing a comment here.  5 teams at the halfway mark are at 2 points per game!  Going back 10 seasons, this has never happened before!  So yeah, it is frustrating that we haven't been able to pull away more.  Any other season and we would have.

Over the past 5 seasons, in 3 of them, there have only been 2 teams on 2ppg at the halfway mark.  1 season had 3 teams on 2ppg at the halfway mark.

Had to go back 10 seasons to find an example of 4 teams being 2ppg at the halfway mark.  Didn't look further back than that.

It's hardly provocative. Normal tone, the usual questions being asked after a game. There wasn't any reason for Guardiola to get all tetchy and petulant. Imagine Mourinho had done that...
