Not looking as bad as I thought we would be, if the referee didn't cheat us against Swansea, we would be even better placed. But we're still behind 4 teams, so hopefully we keep beating the smaller teams and try to draw with the big teams instead of losing.

Speaking of the Swansea game, the referee thing is a bit disconcerting...I never gave it too much attention during Mourinho's time or before that, because generally poor decisions for/against us even themselves out over the season.

Dodgy decisions like with Swansea, and even in the Hull game with the penalties can make you wonder. That episode with Mark Halsey speaking in the press doesn't inspire much confidence either..

Personally, I'm really excited for an American to get a chance in the Premier League. I always respected Bradley when he was the USMNT coach. A little bit of background on Bradley:

Even before he began working abroad, he was traveling to places like Milan to study coaches and their methods.

“Bob is extraordinarily intelligent about the game, his work ethics is second to none, and the way he manages teams and deals with people are all outstanding,” U.S. Soccer Federation President Sunil Gulati told the Associated Press.

Admittedly would be interesting to watch an American coach in the league, given the recent success of players like Dempsey, Friedel, Howard and Donovan.

Think it's more a case of nepotism by Swansea's American owners.

I'm sure it has something to do with it. There are going to be a whole bunch of new Swansea fans in America. We're a country that loves to buy merchandise and pay crazy ticket prices to go see preseason friendlies. Outside of that, there's going to be a ton of interest in Swansea and Bradley just from an American soccer standpoint. I'm sure most American soccer fans will be paying attention to how it all goes. He was our national team manager that was both loved and loathed, and here, it's the general consensus that he's a great guy, and great coach that has taken the long way to the "top".

since jose mourinho has joined man utd as manager. man utd has been in the media for all the wrong reasons. it's like a curse is following him around for all the bad things he did and said as manager in football and he is now getting the karma of his actions.
