This has to convince Ancelotti, no matter who he starts, Torres and Drogba shouldn't be on the pitch together. It just greatly imbalances the team. Sub like for like.

I've been critical of Carlo but he got it right with the subs today. I was seriously wondering about Anelka coming on first. But he, Torres and Malouda did well upfront.

Yeah Spector and Sears could have easily scored in the first half, and Robbie Keane threatened us a helluva lot when he came on as a sub.

If they played that good against us, they'll want to do better against City I'm sure of it. I would laugh my head off if they were able to beat them!!

Apart from that one pass, Anelka was same old, slowing us down - for example the situation where he could have slightly flicked the ball to Benayoun but instead he took it back away from the goal. I think it's either Drogba or Torres, don't see them both starting, otherwise I guess Ancelotti would have had them both on to see how they click.
