The only place to be 11,313
I think we can close this topicYep. United coming out (well not actually coming out with quotes) and changing their position from 'he's not for sale' to 'he's not for sale' should see this thread closed. coolhead23 1,147
I guess the game against Swansea should be more of a clear indication of Rooney's future. He plays then i dont he is going any where and if he is not selected or on the bench then expect an entertaining climax to the transfer season.Till then enjoy the rumors mill ... NishC300 1,865
What about Cardozo, he wants to move from what I heard. For a good fee, do u think he would be a good signing?

jmarlow 458
Ibra, Suarez, Yilmaz, Jackson Martinez, Kießling and Eto'o would all either be a great or a pretty decent signing for us imo.

Pizy 19,276
I'd be happier with Suarez than Rooney, tbh. Ibra too for that matter.
Zoro 151
Man utd and Liverpool would rather see a player rot on the bench then sell to a rival. Simple as. This aint going to happen, our best bet is Eto'o.
bouletje 82
haven't been following the premier league for a year or two because of work and traveling etc, but what is the reason he is second choice to van persie there?

AGD 7
The news is only from The Guardian. Why we have to believe? There are no other reportsThe guardian are very reliable. Clearly Man U have approached the Guardian with this story because they are sending a message to their fans, Rooney, and Chelsea. It does not mean the deal is definitely off, but it does seem very unlikely at this stage.

He's on a supposed 300k a week and even a wage cut of 50% would still mean 150k on a player over 30.....nah thanks.
bouletje 82
Injuries and Van Perise has been on form.so what we are talking about here is to sign an injury sensitive?? 35m striker maybe and he's been second choice for a year because he wasn't performing at his highest lvl?aren't there any better choices available? I don't give a toss what he's done in the past. I think he'll have learned his lesson and with the guidance of the best manager in the world and someone known for his excellent man-management, Suarez would make us one of the 3 or 4 best sides in the world.
