ulsterchelsea 3,221
I think if Roo wants to go it'll be here he wants. Utd can want to sell him abroad all they want but cant see him wanting that and dont see him fancying Ie arse either. Truth is tho if utd are sincere in their determination to keep Rooney then nothing he or We do will matter because a transfer request is just that, a request. Noone wants an unhappy player but they dont want to strengthen a rival just to cash in either.
bushman 2,043
Whether he is sold or not, only time will tell. To say, Rooney is not a quality player is just laughable. At 27 year old, he is at the peak of his career. If properly handled & Jose knows how, Rooney could make the difference in this season, I feel. Jype 6,398
BBC reporting that the new bid was £25m upfront and £5m add-ons. Reckon £30m + add-ons will do the trick once Rooney has submitted a transfer request.
Special Juan 28,736
They will sell to us if our bid is correct of 25M plus add ons, possibly upped to 30- Rooney will stick in a request and United will be backed into a corner of having a huge sum on the table for a very unhappy player. BlueLion. 21,491
Of course United haven't accepted it. He "is not for sale". He won't be "for sale" until he hands in a transfer request, which United will probably not accept until they have signed Cesc, or brought in a replacement forward. This won't happen until mid-late August - ie. the 20th - at the earliest, IMO.
Fulham Broadway 17,723
jose wants Rooney that's for sure but I am not sure we need himWe have so many players that have a goal in them and that's without four centre backs that love a goal or twoStill nice to unsettle the Salford franchisers.... Reddish-Blue 2,666
United won't sell Rooney regardless of any transfer request. Moyes needs to make a top-class signing before he agrees to sell Rooney

Las7 951
He has some loyalty bonus which he would loose if he hands in a transfer request, greedy little scouse cunt - he is not worth 30 million pounds with those astronomical wages unless United agree to take Torres. Tricky 301
Rooney is in a tough spot. Was accused by Fergie of handing in a transfer request, he then got all bent out of shape and denied ever having done so. Think his desire to leave is now self evident, he would have said otherwise by now. However should he hand in a request not only does he lose his bonuses (less of an issue IMO) but he then proves Fergie right, in that he has formally requested to leave.Would like I see this tied up, before Real give up on the now "ludicrously" priced Bale. Fucking Levy is beyond a joke, £100m!!!! And step in and bid for Rooney.
Rmpr 8,977
Why would a transfer request all of a sudden make Manure sell him to us? LOLIf they have in their minds that Rooney wont go to Chelsea and end of story. They will keep him in the bench of force a move to either Real or Barça. It is as simple as that. So, if Moyes sells him to us, it wont be because of an useless transfer request. It is not like they dont know he is unhappy!
