I actually respect Drogba more than I ever did at the moment, He could have came on and sulked and everyone would have said Typical Didier, but he fought and scrapped, and we saw one great Chelsea striker give a fitting tribute to the other one. Give him a fucking start for that alone.

If anyone checked out of fixture list you will notice that we have a pretty much easy next month or so.

Blackpool Away

City Home

Stoke Away

Wigan Home

WBA Away

Birmingham Home

West Ham Home

Tottenham Home

I would rate Spurs and City as trick but winnable, the rest of the teams we play are all relegation battlers and we should win comfortably against all of them.

Arsenal will finish third in the end, and we shall laugh at them.

Then next year it will be the same shit about how their team are finally coming off age, tbh its getting very boring but the cycle will never stop until they win the league (then there be even worse).

I just feel a big giant jinx will come out of this. This season has proven that there are few easy games. Remember Wolves beating Man U?

Having said that, Blackpool is missing their best player and have a porous defense. I would stick Torres up front and tell him not to leave the box and get him off and running for goals.

Time to start getting a run going,no point beating the likes of Man U if we just go on to drop points over our next lot of fixtures.

Gana be tough even with them missing players, they havent done to badly against top sides and need desperatly to get the points and all...and hopfully Torres get his goal!

Just from the top of my head i think Chelsea have 12 games left to play. And if we were to win all them, 84 points we would finish with, could be enough to win the season actually. But i can't see us winning straight 12 games. The Title is lost in my opinion, but if we want to stay in top 4, we need to win at least 8-10 games i would say starting from now. If Chelsea is in good form from Man United win then it's a boost for us. Arsenal have fucked up many times, and with players injured and getting them back on track it could take time, who knows Arsenal could drop down to 3rd. Man City havent been in good form recently either, they could drop. Spurs i think will get back on track with there players coming back. However United, now we have to hope for United to lose a few games and draw if we ever want to actually think of getting number one, i don't think it's possible. But i didn't think the win against United was possible but it happened. But this is United, they've got to play Arsenal and us towards the end of the season. Liverpool they should just step on easily.

Even if we won all 12 games, winning this league would be a matter of the teams above us losing. Gotta have hope though at least, Essien is back!, and Lampard is just getting there!, that's great news for us. To be honest the United match we were unfortunate at the end of the first half but in general i think we dominated them on the pitch, if it wasn't for Scholes United wouldn't of got anywhere, noticed how we hardly heard from Nani? or Flectcher?, we totally took care of them, the Rooney goal was a mistake by the defenders not getting in the way of it, someone should of been there to close down, but hey if he never scored that goal, i doubt our players would ever of pulled there fingers out so much. At the begining i couldn't believe how Chelsea played, i expected them to be scared, it was like they were champions at the time, compare that match to Fullham and Liverpool and you can see what i mean.

Looking forward to this, even though it's on a Monday night (Thanks Sky :wank2:) and it's going to be bloody cold, although saying that, it can't be as cold as it was in Copenhagen.

The Seasiders will most certainly be up for this match, it should be a walk in the park for us, but I think we will have to be on top of our game. They're only a point behind Everton and Aston Villa, teams that can cause us problems. As Laylabelle says we need a good run from now onwards and not drop points. I can see us getting at least 2-0.

My team :

Cech

Bosigwa - Drogba - Terry - Cole

Essien - Josh

Ramires ------------ Zhirkov

Luiz - Torres

I would maybe give Bosingwa a start. Ivanovic is near to be suspended plus he has played 25 games out of 27. So I guess we should give him a rest. Futhermore, it would allow us to 'test' Bosingwa, to see if we should keep him or sell/release him.

If Mikel is fit for the game, we should play him in the second half instead of Essien. This isn't to punish Essien or stuff, but it is to see who's the better of them in this position.

About Lampard, we really need to rest him. He won't be able to play as long as Scholl and Giggs if we play him week in and week out. Though I really doubt that Josh will start, and if Frank start, we should at least replace him at the 70th minutes.

For Zhirkov, it's a no brainer. After Tuesday game, he definitely deserves to start.

I have my doubts about the partnership Drogba/Torres... To me it won't be a hit.. And when they've played together (against Liverpool) it didn't really work, but in their defense, this game was really special. So we should try once more this partnership (in an 'ordinary' game) to be sure whether it works or not...

This game is one of the easiest fixture that we will have untill the end of the season, plus it seems that Blackpool's two best players are out, which will make the game easier. So we should use this game to make some test, and of course, to rest some players.
