He saw that the attacking fullbacks were completely exposed, so he will stick Ramires on the right to help Dani Alves. Paulinho is a good player, but terrible marker and a bit on the slow side. He might not have played well, but to come on 5-0 down and still give as much as you've got is admirable. They'd have had all the energy and heart sucked right out of them.
