yuvala 2,167
I wouldn't mind if he went tbh. Something about him recently has annoyed me. His passing is shocking and he just doesn't seem to do as much as he did. Maybe he'll up his game but i've not liked him this season. I would mind. He is a great hard-working footballer who always has a place in our starting XI. He has not been himself lately because of his new role, which Mou assigned to him. He is not suited for that role, it takes away all of his strengths. He can't charge forward which takes away his explosivenes, speed and strength, plus he has to pass the ball a lot and he's not a good passer. He's not a holding mid, he's a box to box beast. Yeh let's just go ahead and sell our best CM.The fact that he's being forced to play as a holding midfielder due to Lampard's rubbish performances in a deeper role has nothing to do with his performance, yea? ChelseasMessiah 304
Now reports saying Martino's Barcelona are also after him; we really need to look after this lad better and get someone of his ilk to play alongside him.

Popular Post! Bir_CFC 3,455 Posted November 19, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 19, 2013 I'd never understand why you'd sell such a versatile player like Ramires. I can understand arguments for trying out different players for our pivot and turn Ramires into a squad player instead of having him as the only reliable midfielder but to sell him outright makes no sense to me. He's the ultimate team player. Rmpr, Barbara, Bosnian Blue and 2 others
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Im pretty sure if Real or Barca calls, 99% of players will go.Especially Brazilians. Nationality aside I think most from around the world would go since these clubs were big when they were kids.Lets be honest, no kid in South America(Suriname aside), Continental Europe, or Africa were sitting around in 1996 thinking: "Chelsea? Fuck yeah I want in on that!"You were either in the area, or you had an immediate connection. You build the international brand. That is why Lukaku is a new type of player here. He grew up watching Drogba, and wanting to be like him at Chelsea. Likewise these 80's babies grew up watching the Barcelona,Madrid clubs. As a club we are on their level. The difference is when these 90's kids, who watched the Abramovich era growing up, become of age that mystique will stay with them. When you can have footballers, coming from around the globe, who can look you in the face and say: "I've wanted to play here ever since I kicked a ball"......that is football. Starman60 1,343
I think the lure of Barca may be too great for him. But if the Barca magic starts to fail now that Guardiola has left, well then there's nowhere else to be except Chelsea. Anyway, we wont sell him............why should we? he's irreplacable at present

But now you ask the question. They might want him exactly because of the way he plays. He would bring something new to them, and with Guardiola gone they may feel they need new options. But I do see what you are saying and tend to agree with you. But how many players have been swayed, and left clubs where they played regularly to sign for big money and so called bigger clubs. ie;- Maschareno CHOULO19

Would be such a shame if Rami makes the mistake that Mascherano and Song made.
