Yeah but Pastore doesn't and work permits/immigration is just not as crazy hard to get in most other countries when the people in question are pro footballers who are going to earn a hell lot and not just be unemployed. Italian clubs can also only sign one none EU player from outside of Italy a year, Palermo for example had a defender for a couple of months ow that they haven't been able to use because of that rule.

Chelsea must change the youth program. Why We dont took him when he was a cheap guy playing in south america?

They must realize that is in Brazil and Argentina that they will find sublime creative mids with superb skills.

It pisses me off Chelsea wasting money in players like Borini, Mancienne e Stoch, who end up playing for another club almost for free

We are trying to do that with Piazon.

Hope he is the first of many. :)

Also don't many South Americans have direct Italian/Spanish heritage, allowing them to gain Citizenship easier?

Its not like that. Each country has its own immigration law, and in Italy a heritage is not enough because its not easy to prove who are your ancestors, sometimes all you got is an italian like surname. For spanish it doesnt matter, people came from Spain and Portugal came to SA centuries ago.

Pastore is probably the most wanted midfielder in the world atm so it's normal that Zamparini plays hard ball. One thing that's great is that not many clubs out there have an urgent need for him. Real have Ozil, Sahin and Kaka. Barca has Xavi and Iniesta and Shitty has Silva and the other clubs may have the need for him, but I don't think they have the money required. We could bring him here if we managed to get our bid accepted by Palermo.

I was just playing FIFA11 as Bayern when I noticed Chelsea had signed Javier Pastore for £34mi towards the middle of the 2011 Transfer Window.

I think it is a sign for things to come.
