Would welcome Jovetic in a heartbeat but is he a prolific goalscorer?? I'm not too sure! Do we need a prolific goalscorer? I'm not too sure!

We just need a vast improvement on Torres and Ba. Jovetic is definitely that. He has shades of Del Piero, Batistuta and Inzaghi in his game. Who wouldn't embrace that kind of a player here!?!

Myself. We need to sign a top striker or bring Lukaku back. No more wasted money in strikers, please.

Would love some sort of deal involving Torres (if only he took the hint!).

To be honest if we brought Jovetic and Schurlle, alongside recalling Lukaku, and managed to sell Torres and Marin, we would have improved our attack multiple times over and not spent shit loads in doing so.

Moses, Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Schurlle, Jovetic, Ba and Lukaku vying for those front four places would give us a blend of raw pace and dynamism, pure creativity and brute strength. The options and versatility would be immense and with the exception of Ba all would be 25 or younger!

Read on sky sport the fiorentina president wants 30mil cash, I think that is way too much.. Juve not willing to pay it a doubt arsenal will so most likley he will stay.. Unless fiorentina accept less money!

Schürrle type of player really - not really a winger, but not really a striker either.

Jovetic is a great player if you play on a two strike system, like Manure or Shitty or even Milan. He would be the perfect replacement for Rooney and would do an awesome partnership with Balotelli...

However, I dont see him as a main striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation!

I think he can be converted to play behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1. After all that is where Mata played for the last two months of the season (although it was more of a 4-4-1-1).

True, but I was more focused on Chelsea and the position we need is the striker and not another player to compete with Mata!

I am worried about his scoring stats. Not very good stats for a 20+ millions striker in my opinion, despite his young age.

2011–12 => 29 app all competitions - 14 goals

2012–13 => 33 app all competitions - 12 goals

True, and why he's more suited to a 2 striker formation. If we want a goal machine, we should just get Gomez :D
