Alee. 182
1017: Big club alert, big club alert: these words have just been printed in French newspaper L'Equipe, emanating from the mouth of Bayern Munich flier Franck Ribery:"It's the first time that I haven't really felt close to a coach. There's not much feeling between us at all," he said about boss Louisvan Gaal. Anyone got a spare £57m?
chrismada9 1,948
Am I the first one to mention, that ..... maybe signing Franck Ribery wouldn't be a bad coup considering we've been strongly unlucky with everyone else??

chrismada9 1,948
Franck Ribery admits his relationship with Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal is not a good one.The France midfielder was linked strongly with a move to this summer, but that switch never materialised and he looks likely to stay at the Allianz Arena until January at least.Chelsea and champions Manchester United were all strongly linked with Ribery, and Real Madrid were reportedly considering making a late bid for the player.Ribery has not started a club game this season as he bids to regain full fitness, and has reportedly not seen eye to eye with Van Gaal, who took over this summer.'It is important that you have faith in the coach, but with him (Van Gaal) it is complicated,' he said in L'Equipe.'This is the first time that my contact with a coach is not positive. There's not much feeling between us.'Bayern have won just one of their opening four Bundesliga games and lie eighth in the table with five points.------------------------------------Source:- The Daily Telegraph------------------------------------
the wes 7,212

ROMAN ABRAMOVICH is seething after Chelsea's transfer ban ruined his chances of bringing Franck Ribery to Stamford Bridge in January.France star Ribery was poised to move to Stamford Bridge in January - but Russian billionaire Abramovich has been forced to scrap the £40million signing.Chelsea's plans have been thrown into chaos by FIFA's ban, which prevents the Blues from doing any deals during the next two transfer windows. And that means Ribery now seems certain to leave Bayern Munich for Real Madrid instead.Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti believed a deal was as good as done for the French winger. He was hoping to take him to Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window - but certainly in time for the start of next season.Ribery was the Italian's first-choice target all summer and was understood to be ready to force through a move to Chelsea.Bayern's late capture of Real Madrid's Arjen Robben paved the way for the 26- year-old to move to London. But FIFA's block on deals into the Bridge has wreaked havoc with those intentions, and will open the door for Madrid to step in with a fresh move of their own.Ribery will also be exploring alternative options - almost certainly Real Madrid - as he'll fear being left in limbo if Chelsea can't successfully challenge FIFA's ruling.NewsoftheworldBig Thanks to Mr Arnesen for fucking that upNo more drink for me ill end up shooting some cunt

Rubber bullets 1,183
Well, if we can get the punishment postponed on the appeal, that means we can buy Ribery due to the fact that we will be allowed to buy players in the January window.Although this seems unlikely. caesarblues 51
Chelsea offered '€65m plus José Bosingwa' for Franck RibéyrFranck Ribery may be a transfer target in January if Bayern fail to progress in the Champions League.sBayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has revealed his club received a bid of €65m (£58.5m) plus José Bosingwa from Chelsea for Franck Ribéry in the summer.Chelsea were one of several clubs interested in the French winger, and their bid was not the most financially lucrative, but Hoeness told Bild newspaper that it was the "best bid". However, it still fell short of the Bavarian club's €100m (£90m) valuation of the 26-year-old, which is why they turned the Stamford Bridge club down."We never received an offer over €100m," he said. "The best bid game from Chelsea: €65m plus the player Bosingwa. We also received other offers of €76m and €80m."However, Hoeness denies ever being truly tempted into selling Ribéry, who he claims had not demanded a move either. "He never came to us and said he wanted to leave at any price," said Hoeness. "He always said to us that he would like to move to Real Madrid, but that if we wanted to keep him, then it was not a problem. [selling him] was never a real consideration. However, we want to create the conditions which give Franck the feeling that he can achieve something here in Munich. If he cannot see this potential, then he will leave."Bayern are currently struggling to provide the France international with these conditions and they could be dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night should Juventus defeat Bordeaux, regardless of how Bayern fare against Maccabi Haifa. This would inevitably make Ribéry's name one of the most frequently mentioned when the transfer market reopens in January, even though Hoeness reserves himself the final say on the issue. "If FC Bayern says no, then Franck stays," he said.Guardian Edited November 22, 2009 by caesarblues
