Didn't we win the league and FA Cup tho?

Did you even read what I said?!

He's won only 4 league titles in 20+ years of management. Hardly a great record for a supposedly world class manager. Napoli basically hired another cup manager a la Benitez.

I think Benitez is more suited to Naples out of the two. Tactically he has a way of setting up which helps Bridge the gap to superior sides (as we found out to our cost many times and as recently as 11 days ago), Carlo's more relaxed approach isn't suitable when trying to fight better sides.

Only in one-off matches though. We all know Benitez doesn't have the stomach to sustain a league challenge over 38 games. Pretty sure he's always finished far behind the champions since he last won the league with Valencia.

Well, looks like Niinii had it right.  I have to say, being able to get Sarri without paying his clause is pretty good business.

Hes also saying he wants Seri.

We've been linked with him before.  The rumoured amount for him suits us.  Very important summer coming up.  You could argue that we've been papering over the cracks for a while now.  Potential Sarri appointment would suggest that we are interested in a major shift.

And that may work out good. But te thing is tho mate we have only just done a major shift with the Dons formation.

Whenever a new manager comes in its the same thing.

On one hand it keeps it fresh but then theres no continuity. The players the last manager used for his style dont suit the next managers style so we spend another shit load of money instead of just upgrading a couple of positions with class players.

Its plain that a good handful of the lads just wont fit Sarris style so we go into the market spending money on those to change. (I know we would have had to anyway this season but thats down to buying wonkey donkeys in the 1st place)

That's us, in a nutshell.  No other big club (or even some smaller ones) shift their identity as much as we do.  Ramires was used as a CM in Carlo's midfield diamond.  Was out of place in a 4231.  Sold.  Then, Conte comes in and wants a midfield made up of hard workers who can play B2B.  FFS.

So, according to Italian press, Sarri and his staff are going to be in London today, but according to the English press or Matt Law specifically, they still wait for an offer from the club.

It must be great to be a journo.

"#Chelsea has offered #Sarri a 3-year contract at 4-5 million per season. Blues willing to pay even 3-4 million euros (about half the clause) to free him. Zenit waits but not too much: Russians want to announce new technician by weekend @ilmessaggeroit"

"#Sarri is not the only #Chelsea candidate, but #Ramadani, in London, has recorded new positive signs. Even the players cheer for the Italian solution @ilmessaggeroit"

She works for Calciomercato. FFS even the players want Sarri to become the manager. G E T I T D O N E
