I hope the next manager is a low profile one, like Hiddink. Someone that won't be creating controversies on a weekly basis or giving answer in press conferences that are designed to be in papers headlines, or someone that won't be trying to motivate the players with provocative strategies, or always talking about himself and taking a dig at Wenger just to play for the gallery.

Hiddink's strategies and results are not what we wanted, but its really refreshing that football became the subject again and the players are the protagonists again. For me thats the biggest difference before and after Mr. Special One.

Good thing about Simeone above the others is that he is hot property. He is up there with Pep and Jose.  So, if he demands significant transfer activity, you can be damn sure he'll. Get it, especially when the club sees now how bare the manager options are

after, sarri  have had experience on napoli and empoli, doing always well!

Never said we shouldn't hire them but they are clearly a risk if we do that.

Tuchel and Sarri have done well but it's only one season so far and would you even have recommended them last season before they went to Dortmund and Napoli respectively? Schubert, on the other, has only done OK so far. Nothing of note to be shouting about.

Let me see, in 10 years Chelsea won 4 Premier Leagues and1 Uefa Champions League, almost the same record achieved by Ferguson's United in the period, no one can deny Chelsea have been one of the most successful teams in Premier League and in Europe in past 10 years, despite the popular belief that changing managers won't let you win big things. But of course someone will just say "they would have won more", and that Chelsea could dominate they way United did before, if Mourinho wasn't sacked, but he failed to mention that United already was a better side the season before Mourinho was sacked, and the season he was sacked, the team already were some points behind United when he left and they were easily the most solid side in the league.  Then you just realize the same person who said that nonsense is the one who wrote this:

I don't how can anyone who watched the first 16 games of this season can say a single bad thing about this teams' spirit, our about the team looking passive and placid.

If he's so obsessed with Guardiola, why doesn't he try to appoint a manager similar to him? Simeone, Conte, Allegri, they are all top managers, but not even close to what Pep's playing.

For me the closest thing to Guardiola in world football is Rayo's Paco Jemez. And anyone that watches Rayo on a regular basis can confirm that. He's basically Guardiola with no money and utter trash players. Basically Rayo is the poorest club in La Liga with a budget of around 10-12m Euros per year. And this amount includes the transfer budget money, players, staff, medical department, physios' salaries etc. Every summer they sign youngsters on loan, free agents or rejects like Kakuta or Bebe. Even Steaua Bucharest here in Romania has a bigger budget. Still Rayo can cope with La Liga and are 2nd in the possession rankings, after Barcelona. Paco Jemez is obsessed with adventurous football, a high line, intensity, pressing, possession based football.

And then there's a lot of other managers that get close to Guardiola, although not in all aspects, such as Sampaoli, Pellegrini, Favre, Pochettino etc. Maybe they are not that obsessed with keeping possession 80% of the time, but they play attractive football with high intensity.

I think he cares more about success than style. It seems whoever makes it to CL final is on our radar, which makes Conte an unlikely candidate.

Which manager in the world coming to Chelsea wouldn't want John Terry playing for them? You'd even fight tooth and nail to have him here in a none playing capacity never mind just playing. Lets get one thing straight, get JT signed up because we aren't talking a player who's constantly berated by fans or is constantly poor, this guy isn't just a leader but I believe the a massive part of the foundations that hold the structure up correctly.

One year Chelsea, one fucking year, get your heads out of your brown bullet holes and deal with this please. As for the new manager, I'm not bothered at this moment in time because I feel the club have lost all foresight completely.

Exactly!surely be off putting to anyone.want a chance to build a team but soon as results go against that's it usually chance gone goodbye.Club and Co need to learn to not expect miracles and if do sod all in the window expect even less

It's gotta be because the club think he would somehow undermine the new manager by being such a huge influence over the dressing room. I think it may be a clue that Simeone indeed won't be our next coach, unfortunately. JT is the kind of warrior and leader that Simeone would probably love to keep around. If Roman wants more attacking, free-flowing football and has already been in contact with the new man maybe they've told him that JT simply doesn't fit their philosophy.
