Mudryck has skills just needs a real manger and a mentor

we hope, but it's not a sure thing. Maybe he won't grow the tactical and mental aspect, which is about non-existent at this time. This last step is the hardest one yet.

We started the second half in similar fashion, with the best chance falling to Kante for the umpteenth time. Chalobah showed his lack of IQ in gifting RM progression.

It's not about whether he was right or wrong; the idea that Boehly actually thought he was the man to galvanise this squad is farcical.

True but then who can at this point? We're 15th for goals scored for a reason. Spent stupid amounts of money and sod all going from it..money spent on names it seems rather then what we need and the talent we need. Good luck whoever us stupid enough to come and take over!8

This happens when you are trying to overturn a 2-0 defeat.
But we played well and -as usual- we could n't convert.
The way we played in Madrid was bad.
We gave them 3/4 of the field without resistance and we did n't escape in the end.
We should have pressed them like today - they are good at passing but not superhuman. After all TT put the press on them last year and the year before and he managed to extinguish them.

Overall, tragic.

Not tragic because we relegated, tragic because Real Madrid walked through without any difficulity, without having to sweat or offer anything special. If we had 1-2 players who can actually scored goals we could have had chance to win this till final minutes.

Chalobah, Gallagher and Cucurella are absolutely no players for this level.

Any of the names mentioned would have done a better job than winless Lamps. Have you read the reports that there is literally no tactical work during training instead, Lamps is having therapy sessions with each player instead?

You can't even laugh at the current mess we're in anymore.

True but what do you expect from a clueless owener

Players don't need therapy the fans do!! This is like the definition of madness..we're doing the same thing over and over and expecting for some reasonna different result

not too long ago, I was the one person suggesting that he did not look good enough at this level. There is a PL bias towards power, strength, tall players, but that does not align with the current state of affairs with City's midgets winning the league every season.

The fact Boehly already owns a sports team is mindboggling.

City still have presence where it matters. Rodri being a key name.

Chalobah ended this match. You would n't get more free space than Rodrygo did if you bought Stamforf bridge.

Chalobah shouldn't have even played, Badiashile should have. Wasn't registered. 🤭

What a clusterfuck and totally braindead season.

So true..and stupid''In among the many mistakes made by Chelsea's new ownership group led by Todd Boehly, one of the most obvious is shelling out £600m in a madcap transfer spree but failing to acquire someone who deals in the most precious commodity of all, namely goals''.

If this was a rival team we would be laughing at the stupidness of it..instead it's our turn...

Leao was amazing tonight, of course we bought Mudryk instead.

I 'm not sure about Leao, maybe.
But players like Mudryk from leagues way below the premiership standard are always suspect.
He had a goodish chance in the last minutes to score the goal of honour and he skied it.

Didnt play too bad against the alleged best club team in the World for an hour. Chances not taken, and the whole thing overshadowed by the worst form for 30 years and then you have someone like Haaland scoring four times as many as the whole of our team combined.

Top players, backroom staff dispensed with along with Tuchel...leaves us with all the gear, no idea

That's now, but they win it every season. Don't know they all seem fairly interchangeable. It's like they work with a specific set of skills, and almost any player who fit that mould can get the job done -- some better than others.

The mould pertains lots of skill on the ball, an absurd amount of pace, work rate, and tactical discipline. Power isn't really a thing they absolute need.

Back to my point Chalobah isn't good enough however tall he may be.
