Blues Forever 1,232
Milan are planning to activate the option to buy Chelsea's Fikayo Tomori. Negotiations will start in a few weeks but there is great satisfaction about the loanee's performances.
Vesper 30,260
Top assets from a transfer value standpoint The CIES Football Observatory has developed a powerful algorithm to assess the transfer value of professional football players on a scientific basis. Issue number 330 of the Weekly Post presents the top valued footballer for each of the 98 teams from the five major European leagues, as well as the percentage that the value of the most expensive player represents out of the total estimated transfer value of his owner club. With an estimated transfer value of more than €150M, Marcus Rashford is the main asset of Manchester United. The Englishman represents almost 15% of the entire Manchester United’s estimated transfer value. This percentage rises above 20% concerning Erling Haaland and Borussia Dortmund, while it is about 10% for Phil Foden and Manchester City, and just below that proportion for Vinícius Júnior and Real Madrid. The lowest dependance on the top valued player was recorded for an Italian Serie A team. With an estimated transfer value between €30 and €40M, Italian national A-team centre back Gianluca Mancini represents 8,7% of the total estimated AS Rome’s squad value. At the opposite end of the table is SD Eibar, where Edu Expósito (€15-20M) represents almost 40% of the total squad value. The estimated transfer value intervals for all big-5 league players are accessible for free here.

Blues Forever 1,232
Summary: Chelsea will focus on bringing the right centre-forward and are ready to spend big on the right one. Haaland is an obvious target, while Lukaku is on the alternatives list. Big decisions to be made about the future of Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta, and Silva. The club may buy another defender. Similarly, the futures of Tammy and Giroud are in doubt. Giroud seems to leave the club in the summer. The club has not extended Tuchel's contract yet and Matt Law suggests that it is to be seen "how influential Tuchel is in the recruitment process while his contract only has a year left on it and whether Chelsea will chase his targets or ‘club’ signings". Roman commitment is unquestionable but still no news on the stadium plan. Chelsea may have to fight to keep Anthony Barry, who is highly rated and may receive good offers to go. I highly doubt we'll get Lukaku unless Conte leaves in the summer and/or Inter's financial situation suddenly gets worse. Otherwise, he's the main man of the club and Conte. No way they're gonna sell him to and even if they do, he'll cost A LOT.
R2D2 368
I'd rather have Tammy than Lukacow, hopefully we get Haaland and won't matter afterwards. Edited March 26, 2021 by R2D2

CHO just said he feels comfortable as LW and AM. Basically meaning he does not want to play wing back at least not in the long run. James is straggling in this position. Corona has 47 assists since start of the 18/19 season. Not sure any player in Europe has more apart from KDB and Bruno. If Tuchel continues this formation we would probably need new RWB at least for rotation. I want guy from your country but hard to imagine Inter would let him go. So Corona is not a bad option. Pizy 18,984
Think Lukaku would be an awesome fallback option, actually. Not as though there’s a bunch of top strikers out there. He has some frustrating attributes but he scores and scores in lots of different ways. You feed him service and he puts it away. But for me the priority should be a striker who’s excellent technically and can create for himself if necessary. Someone who isn’t almost entirely dependent on perfect service to score like our current #9’s Tammy & Oli are. This is why Dybala would make a lot of sense. But he’s rumored to leave Juve every window seemingly and never does. I’m not even giving a thought to Haaland. Unless Roman reaches in his pocket for a sum that Dortmund can’t say no to that’s not happening.
Blues Forever 1,232
Hope we avoid Dybala, we need a true no. 9 not another false 9/no. 10 like Havertz.
bigbluewillie 1,930
Haaland's transfer fee this summer has been set by Borussia Dortmund with interested clubs needing £154m in order to have a chance of signing the striker. (ESPN)
bigbluewillie 1,930
This is the worrying time, apart from the 2 mentioned, there's only Kane an Lewandowski that's any good out there and we're never gonna get either of them. There really is a shortage of decent strikers.
