Based only on YT videos, Cakir and others look better than Mendy. You cannot find one spectacular save from him. He is the first signing in the last couple of years that gives me Bakayoko vibes.

But what do I know, I will trust in Cech on this.

See ME Id tell Petr to get his gear on and do some multi tasking as our head GK coach. How the hell we expect a 3rd rate keeper to coach a keeper that lacks the basic fundamentals? MAYBE one of the ex pest keepers in the world COULD make some difference/ At ;east enough to get some money back out of him/

Alonso is way better than Emerson. So pls no.

This is true but it seems we cannot get any money for Emerson, If Inter give us 25m for Alonso I think we will accept it.

And some said after Kolarov Inter will not go for new LB/LWB but Kolarov will play LCB so I think this is true.

This and also want La Liga, he doesn't has any interest in PL or else he would have accepted City's offer.

We do not know how much money they offered him.

Looks like no one wants to give him 20m. But my point is: If City offer him 20m, Barca lets say 17m, Bayern and Real 16m it is pretty clear to me that he would come to PL.

Villa have had a £16m offer for Martinez accepted. Wouldn't he be a safer option than Mendy?

How come he would be safer? I would assume Mendy has been scouted based on his performances in the last two seasons while Martinez only became even slightly relevant less than three months ago and before that he was considered Championship level.

If anything, I would consider Martinez a huge gamble if the decision to buy was based solely on performances over ten games no matter how good he did on those.

And either way I doubt Arsenal would accept same bid from Chelsea than Aston Villa.
