If City want to avoid a bidding war, am sure the rest will likely follow suit too, especially with the price, including the agent fees for Raiola and Haaland's dad being so high anyway.

Johnson mentioned we're going hard for Haaland this summer because this is the best chance to sign him.

Theoretically, I'd agree but then you could say the same for almost every club interested in him. The price would be lower next year but you would imagine every and more big clubs would then try to convince him. So either clubs go into a potential bidding war this summer or a convincing war next summer.

The club wanting Haaland is one thing but whether he wants to join us is another. Plus, if we don't finish in the Top 4, we can forget about getting him.

And I just remember Guardiola hinted at potentially signing Haaland yesterday. Despite what Ornstein or anyone else may say, I still wouldn't rule out City making a move on him really. This is the same club after all that were prepared to throw money at signing Messi last summer.

Even if we finish in the top 4, there is no guarantee Haaland want to come here lol.

Haaland will move somewhere now but I'm sure in 4 or 5 years he will have another big transfer. Probably PL now and Real/Barca as next step.

One more payday for Raiola

For such fees I really couldnt give a rats ass, this is insane numbers for just 1 player, and you can bet he wont accept anything below 200K a week either. Then you have his father, his cunt of an agent......

Wasn't a 180 million player performance today

TBF, not his fault he has that price tag put over him and he's still only 20 years old, despite the hoo-ha around him.

Haaland is worth every penny even if today he wasn't so good, problem is I'm losing confidence we can get Top 4 which means we have no chance of pulling this deal.

You guys seen how EH was wanking seeing the emtyhad stadium? Ugly or not they never fill out their ground, also why no one gives a shit about them. And then after the match Pep had to vax EH's lyrics to entice him, just 5 days ago he didnt want him. Pep will never grow balls.

There is some form of truth to both Zlatan and Raiola's comments about him.

If Real Madrid took Haaland, is it possible we would have a shot at Mbappe?

I think not, his wages would be off the charts and though only has 1 year left he would still command a huge fee.
