The price at J.Gittens is said to be €60m with bonus payments.

The big investment of this summer is going to be Gittens and Joao Pedro for little over 100m. Doubt we try for a bigger deal.

Can’t remember the last time I was this underwhelmed by a big money signing. Not because he’s a bad player or anything but just because I don’t think he’s a ceiling raiser like a bunch of the signings our rivals have and will be making.

I’m expecting another Madueke level player with Gittens. Flashes of nice football with lots of mediocrity and frustration the majority of the time.

We are so obsessed with ex City academy players and Brighton players . Can we just buy City academy instead or some % of Brighton  .

This is what happens when you recruit absolute morons and a bunch of nothing directors, these idiots only advising players from former clubs they worked with, lazy wankers.

Chelsea pushing hard for bhafc forward Joao Pedro and that's not good news for nufc - who also made a move last week for one of their top targets. Confidence now at Chelsea end they're in a stronger position to do the deal... Big few days ahead on this one cfc

Kudus is very similar to Madueke, but less successful / productive. A very low standard indeed.

Madueke is already beneath the level we should have albeit I think its ok to have some squad filler like him, signing more squad filler is not what we need. Unless Madueke is on his way out and Kudus is a vastly cheaper replacement, it would make no sense.

We need to be raising the standard not lowering it or just keeping it the same as the worst members of our squad.

Kudus' issue is consistency. Ability wise, he's leagues above all our natural wingers. As with all rumoured deals, I refrain from passing judgement until there's a clearer picture. If West Ham are willing to sell him for less than £40m, I wouldn't have any objections with the possibility of a return should things not work out.

You need to realise, we aren't going for ready made players anymore. Our CL qualification hasn't done anything to change things, and I doubt things will miraculously change from now till earlier Sep.

George already replaced Mudryk during the season.

Gittens is Sancho replacement.

Pedro would replace Nkunku.

We lacked in CF role so got Delap.

And if we sell Madueke I guess Estevao would take his minutes.
