weird

If at least 75m/80m euros come, I think we should accept but Gittsen and Garnacho are worst than him

I think Gittens will be loaned to Strasbourg in the summer.

He needs to play!

Garnacho is welcome to go with Neto.

Maybe they should try to bring Derry or McQueen into the first team instead of buying another unknown talent as a replacement.

Atletico Madrid is interested in Garnacho, so maybe something could happen with Alvarez.

Chelsea are interested in signing the Argentine ace Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg.

https://www.caughtoffside.com/2026/02/08/liam-rosenior-wants-valentin-barco-Chelsea/

According to a report from Bolavip, the newly appointed Chelsea manager has requested that the club hierarchy sign the player. He worked with Barco during their time together at the French club, and he is well aware of the South American’s quality and potential.

He has informed the Chelsea hierarchy: “I want Valentín Barco back.” Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca was keen on Barco as well.

Can Chelsea land Valentin Barco?

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea is willing to make a move for him at the end of the season. There is no doubt that they could use more quality and depth in the squad, and the Argentine would be ideal. He is a tremendous player with a bright future and could become a key player for the club with the right guidance.

The opportunity to reunite with Rosenior and join one of the world’s biggest clubs will be quite exciting for the South American. It could be the ideal next step in his career. Regular exposure to the Premier League could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his potential.

Chelsea could use Barco

Strasbourg are owned by BlueCo, the same parent company that owns Chelsea. Therefore, it is fair to assume that an agreement could be reached easily.

The 21-year-old is versatile enough to operate as a left back, a central midfielder, or a wide player. He could be the ideal utility man for Chelsea. If he manages to fulfil his potential with them, the deal could look like a masterstroke in future.

Barco has one goal and four assists to his name in Ligue 1 this season, and he would only improve with coaching and experience. He is well-versed with Rosenior’s system, and he could settle quickly and make an immediate impact.

Once Lavia is fit don’t play him and sell him to strasbourg. Hopefully he can stay fit and play consistently while they get a midfielder we can then take Barco

I'd rather keep Gittens than Garnacho.

Garnacho just sucks - and it also goes to show why G/A are meaningless without context too for wingers.

IDK, tbh

both are shit but I think Garnacho have a better media and I think he is more easy to sell

Of course it was a huge mistake by Joe Shields!

He has to play, I don't think he'll get enough playing time at Chelsea. Quenda is also coming in, and Rosenior rates Garnacho above Gittens.

Garnacho over Gittens for me. At least Garnacho despite being shit most of the time will score a decent amount against super shit teams over the course of a season. Gittens hasn’t really shown that he can even do that.

how we throw away 50M on Gittsens? unreal mistake

Joe shields and his lust for all ex city players.

Really that guy is highly dissapointing me. It's like he become a rock star with Palmer and after that he just repeat the same play. Buy City players because I might get another Palmer....

Still better than Winstanley twerking like a moron whole last summer for Garnacho.

This next summer should transfer window should look a lot like last year’s. Clearing out loads of players that simply aren’t good enough. Tosin, Badiashile, Disasi. Send Essugo on loan. The tricky bit is seeing if the club have the balls to admit they fucked up with Gittens and Garnacho and even Delap and move them on after only 1 season. My gut says no on all 3. They’ll all get another make or break season.

With Colwill returning from injury and Quenda + Emegha on the way we don’t actually need that much in terms of buys. I think it’s a lock that our 3 strikers entering next season with be Delap, João Pedro, and Emegha whether we like it or not. So no chance we buy yet another out and out striker.

So I could see it being a fairly subdued window with incomings unless we go crazy selling multiple attackers. Depending on how Sarr looks the rest of this season and whether Lavia can stay fit for longer than a few games, those are the only 2 spots that are truly glaring.

I want him here so badly it hurts.

ffs get rid of Deflop

Bayern Munich are not looking at Atletico Madrid's Argentina forward Julian Alvarez, boosting Arsenal's hopes of signing the 26-year-old. (Christian Falk), external

Alvarez has 7 goals in 23 games in a La Liga that is more open.

Why do people point to him as a saviour for us up front?
