I understand the conflict. Maresca is looking at this season, his job depends upon it. The board is focusing on big picture over the next few seasons. Personally I think we're more likely to recall Sarr, rather than buy a new central defender.

1) we have a lot of players here already

2) colwill will eventually come back and maresca will have to balance the team somehow to keep everyone happy

3) perfect chance to give our youngest players playing time to see who can we rely on in the future
