I think Jackson stays. And Joao Pedro is added as the player to play at 10

I’d be massively underwhelmed if that turns out to be the case. If Palmer needs to be rotated I’d want to see Estevão given a shot at #10. Or if we’re looking to sign a new player for that area why not get a more natural creator?

Idk, João Pedro just does nothing for me at the moment. Big time wait and see type of player. Though I must say if Eddie Howe really fancies him there’s a great chance he can become a top player. Howe seems to hit on almost all of the players he fancies and recruits.

Kudus is a Strasbourg tier player. I'll abandon all hope if we sign him.

He really isn't, he is an outstanding footballer, he is a superb dribbler, poseses pace and strength and can play as a 10 or wide. Bloke has been in a bog standard WHU side trying to pull their pants up all season playing under Graham Potter.

Chelsea are exploring the option of signing 2 attackers this summer!

Signing a versatile forward is seen as a lesser priority but would be done in conjunction with any potential sale of Nkunku, with Joao Pedro & Hugo Ekitike among options considered.

Just entering his prime with 5 goals 3 assists. He has great physicality and little else.

Selfish and low IQ player, which is fundamentally an unfixable problem and sets a very low ceiling.

We don't need to stoop this low anymore.

You have just mentioned half our squad.

Clownlake loves to buy players from seagulls mercants  can stop buying players from mid clubs and focus on top players  like GK , CB cuz we are shit in defense .

Cucurella and Caicedo have been 2 of our best players.

Just because they aren’t from a top club doesn’t mean they aren’t top players.

Can someone please tell me why we continue to entertain Brighton?

Joao Pedro the latest one. Seems like a stupid signing (already had a £50m bid rejected).

Is swapping out Jackson for João Pedro an upgrade if that’s what happens? I don’t think it is. Pretty like for like quality wise in my opinion.

I feel like he's the replacement for Nkunku (someone who hardly got a game). The signing doesn't make sense in the slightest.

So what are Madueke and Jackson? League 1 or championship standard?

Yeah, it’s kind of weird. Maresca refused to use Nkunku or Felix in the PL because they’re awkward positionally. So we’re going to replace Nkunku with Pedro who is much the same?

I guess tbf, João Pedro works MUCH harder for the team than either Felix or Nkunku do. He’ll press, run, and harass from the front unlike the other two. I guess that’s why Maresca may fancy him? 🤷‍♂️

You'd think there is only like 15 good players we should go for in world football if you read this forum.

There is only a small band of elite players available in the market and on the move. 15 sounds about right!

It would be useful to have one more quality player behind the striker and take the burden off Palmer to do something when we are stuck against low blocks.

I would however go to Palace for Eze for the price quoted for Joao Pedro.

Like I mentioned before, if we’re targeting a player to play behind the striker or as part of a 2 forward lineup I can think of several players I’d have over Pedro.

How should this be interpreted? Is it a team made up of the players thought to have been the most scouted NH position during the tournament, a team comprising the players who received the best known scouting reports in their positions, the players found to have produced the best performances statistically, or some other basis?

️James Trafford to Newcastle as good as fixed.

🟡Fenerbahce want to sign Petrovic for €25M Chelsea want €30M.

I was afraid of Trafford to Newcastle. I paid over the odds to win a bidding war for Nick Pope in my fantasy league. I've been trying to sell him to other managers or back to the computer but no one will give me what I paid for him. Looks like I'm going to have to take the loss.

I can only hope that some Premier League team will come in for Pope, make him their starter, and get me out of trouble.

When Brighton is involved, I feel it has more to do with the actual club & their fasciation rather than any manager at the helm.

Looks like we learned or lesson from Milan! If you get an offer from your GK, you ask 5M more..

25 is good money TBH, we should accept ad bye bye Petrovic.

Kudus is very similar to Madueke, but less successful / productive. A very low standard indeed.

Madueke is already beneath the level we should have albeit I think its ok to have some squad filler like him, signing more squad filler is not what we need. Unless Madueke is on his way out and Kudus is a vastly cheaper replacement, it would make no sense.

We need to be raising the standard not lowering it or just keeping it the same as the worst members of our squad.
