No European club will meet their current salaries, and we have no good position to negotiate as they have been out of the squad anyway and even more after signing Gittens and Pedro. People forget we have 3rd best defense in the league behind Liverpool and Arsenal. And that was with best CB out almost full season, captain and starting RB also was out significant time and DM who provides great defensive protection. Not to mention first season with Marescaball. Learning process. On the other hand in attack we were lacking. Absolutely makes sense to get 3 attackers now already Delap, Gittens and Pedro. At least we won't hear anymore how our rivals are getting all targets early and only here nothing happens.
