Wahi is recently linked with Frankfurt. Makes more sense for him tbh than loan to Strasbourg. Maybe he replaces there Muani who is linked with Spurs after Kane leaves. 

Also ofc we have money for Caicedo. 80-100m no difference but there is a principle involved.

Don’t think there’s any chance we could move Sterling even if we wanted to. Strikes me as someone with an ego far too big to agree to go to a smaller PL club. So unless a top European club came for him that he can agree to he’s going to be here.

In hindsight, Sterling was a terrible buy. I hope Potch doesn't feel pressured to use him for his 'experience'

First team signings are just more complicated. Just look at Liverpool - they still havent got a DM yet, even tho Lavia loves them. Youngsters are way easier to sign bc u dont have to face bitchy clubs like Brighton or Southampton.

I don't mind the owners buying youth players. Haven't they said that the funds for them is seperate to the funds for the first team? For me, that isn't really a major issue. For instance, they got Santos at a price that now looks great value. For me, what they're doing with them is what people where doing when they 'owned' half of Teves all those years ago. I suspect it'll be shut down soon enough. 

As for Caicedo, £80m was already way over the top for him. So, I am not losing too much sleep about not going higher than that for him. The kid only has one decent year in the PL and that was in the cluster feck of a year last year was with the WC. Obviously, we need another CM, maybe two, but I am firmly on board with not signing him at the quoted prices.

I tell you what will happen: tomorrow we will announce Sanchez, place our final bid for Caicedo on sunday for 95 plus 5 that will be rejected, then we walk away, buy Adams in the meantime (which is a target in addition to Caicedo) and go back to Caicedo on deadline day just like Enzo. You heard it here first

Why are we even bidding for a seriously injured player anyways, man. Someone who we may not see for months and even then he’ll need another long road to maybe regain his former level.
