If someone offers that same £45m in a single payment that Everton did in January then we should sell. 

With Gallagher sold we could sign Cherki/Kudus AND Olise. And either of the the former two are massive upgrades on CG.

Better keep him as midfielder nr5. than sell him for peanuts in this overinflated market, which 37m really is. We dont need money. 

Better have a HG player as emergency backup than a non HG tbh. We cant sell all our HGs.

People wanna sell Chalobah, Gallagher, Sterling, we sold Mount, RLC, will sell CHO.

We only have 6 HGs left: James, Chalobah, Chilwell, Sterling, Gallagher, Broja.

If we sell Gallagher and send Broja on loan  its 4. So basically we can only have a 21 man squad, leaving no room for Kudus, Cherki, another GK and so on. At least the club targets Olise, who is homegrown.

We need to keep that HG situation in mind, especially when people talk about selling Chalobah and Sterling.

We have a lot of players that are under 21 which makes it kinda save for this season - but we gotta watch out for that

What's the transfer fee for Olise? 

Gallagher would only cover Kudus/Cherki as both are rated around 40-45 million mark...

If we had to prioritise one of them, we should be all over Kudus

I heard that Cherki is off the market bc Lyon feels they can ask for way more next season.

Gallagher should be like Colwill. Not for sale under any circumstances and price. His beautiful hair is worth 50m alone. Apparently Poch likes him but doesn't want to fight with club.

Vesp - I noticed your bio says you're in South Kensington. The missus and I are heading over to London in October - and I've been looking at accomodation but don't know where to settle on. Would you say the South Kensington area is better than Hyde Park/Paddington for getting around to sites and attractions? Obviously closer to Stamford Bridge which is nice - but would be good to get a perspective. 🙂

Unfortunately all academy players that aren’t guaranteed starters are essentially FFP money printing machines. If we sell him and buy a replacement it looks good on the books as amortisation splits up the buying fee but selling fee is 100% profit in the window.  So it only makes sense not to sell if 1. We think we can’t replace or upgrade for similar money or 2. We can’t replace with HG and are worried about having enough HG
