Cherki seems like a beast - but just a little on the slow side. Probably more suited for a central role than wide. Gives Hazard vibes with his in close dribbling though.

Veiga probably more versatile by that measure?

How much is the asking price for both of these?

Not the dribbler Hazard was I don’t see the same explosiveness, but it seems to have better vision.

How good is Szoboszlai ? Seemed like an option for us now that Havertz and Mount both departed

I’ve read our board rates Rayan Cherki higher

literally the post right before yours:

He never missed more than 6 games in a row due injury. Last knee/hip injuries in 20/21 season. Who is Saudis doctor?

It doesn't matter who the doctor is, reports saying that PSG discovered a problem in his knee as well in January.

Rayan Cherki is not the way to go, too slow and lack sharpness. Mohammed Kudus much better option, but still. Lets face reality, all current players we link with are gambles and not top quality signings. Nicolas Jackson, Gabri Veiga, Gusto even Caicedo all have only one good season under them and never played for top team. Nkunku only one who has decent experience. At the same time we lost - Kante, Kova - top level players tons of exp. Mount, Haverts, no matter what you think, great players with decent experience already, and have potential to grow, also Felix in the same bracket. Ziyech, Jorginho, Mendy, Koulibaly, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Azpilicueta - all good squad players with proven quality. There is reasons for every player, but the bottom line - squad losing a lot and not compensating enough. Current squad looks super lightweight in every way and not top 4 material. PL is most competitive league in the world, you can't act like Dortmund and accidentally near win it.

could not disagree more

with almost every statement too

madness to hold onto the players you are throwing a wobbler over because they left and/or were sold

plus, the players your slating are the exact type of buys we should be making

haven't you learned a thing from us spending massive dosh on players that you probably approved of and yet they blew up in our face?

this board kills me at time (TC)

so many whingeing for years about clearing out the deadwood and the bad attitudes and/or non loyals and the simply not good enoughs

YET

we do just that, finally

but then crying chorus starts off a chirping and playing the old outrage organ

I wouldn’t call players like Havertz, Kante, Mount, Kova, Mendy, RLC and KK as deadwood. Bar KK these are top notch players who have won us trophies in the past. If they are so bad, how come most of them  are waltzing into top European teams.

I posited multiple categories, not just deadwood

and there is not a single one we have sold or let go I have disagreed with

you would be one of the first ones whingeing on when they keep on reverting to their form they have had since at least last season, and far longer in many cases
