Stats 7,147
I feel we are crying out for another explosive winger type player so I am content with the signing but think the price is way too high and risky, but time will tell. If he ends up being like Hazard then worth the money. However, now happy about the constant other players we are being linked with. Madueke option should be binned now we have agreement for Mudryk. He isn't needed for that amount of money and then what message does it send out to likes of Hudson-Odoi if we are going for players of similar age bracket. Just feels we are being linked with all young players around the globe. I just hope there is some kind of strategy. Assuming this Mudryk deal is signed and sealed, he most likely goes straight in the team for Liverpool game.

That will be more key long term.

Blue Armour 4,448
The long contracts are probably more to do with FFP more than anything. The downside is getting players to agree with those terms - because they are essentially forfeiting opportunities to bump up their pay with contract renewals, they might ask for higher wages to begin with. Mhsc 1,098
I think long term contracts also take away player power and guarantee you the prime of player's careers. The downside is they may flop and be stuck on the books for ages. It is something I first saw Tottenham doing and it has worked to keep them relevant despite being (relatively speaking) cash poor. No way Harry Kane is still at Spurs if not for clever use of long-term contracts.
Pizy 18,952
The longer the game went on today the worse Jorginho looked. And he wasn’t exactly doing much to start with. And now confirmation that Zakaria will be out for more than a month. I imagine the noise about us bringing in a midfielder will heat up substantially this week. If we had signed Enzo we could be making a real go of it with all these new signings. At least made those competing for that 4th spot sweat. The thing is he doesn’t even bring good passing or anything creative anymore. He is just a liability with no upsides.
NikkiCFC 8,337
Just all to be healthy and this team can go long way in CL. Whichever GK is in top form. Fofana Silva Badiashile James Kante Caicedo Chilwell Felix Mudryk Havertz I hope we get Caicedo now. Nkunku is coming in the summer and on top of that we need DM and Reece backup. Not want to be taking 10239th dig on Potter, but we need to actually get the CL football first to go any way there 😶 In current cl run, the "healthy" thing may be a madman's dream.
