I do believe that Dujon is not vaccinated like RLC and Kante, hence why he has not travelled. Because from what I have heard, he has impressed in training so far. Will likely join up with the boys when they return.

Interesting. Maybe he is another kind of Azpi with low number of assist/goal ratio but high defensive output.

Ironically, when both him and James were in our youth teams, James would play RCB often and Sterling RWB and he was very good offensively for the youth teams. Chipped in with a few goals. I remember when both went out on loan, I was surprised James went on loan to a Championship team and Sterling went on loan to a League 1 team because Sterling is physically built also. But he has not really kicked on. Injuries have not helped either.

Be a great Jorginho replacement but there’s no way he goes this summer after those comments a couple of days ago about how much he loves it here and wants to stay.

He did, but De Jong prefer a CL club hence why he keep resisting to United.

Barca are doing everything to get him out. Not taking him on their pre-season tour. If Barca piss him off enough, he might consider a move. Give him his € 17m owed as a sign on bonus. His wages are unreal, €500,000+ a week. That I cannot see anyone including Man Utd to pay.

Frankie isn't going anywhere until he is paid, which Barca are trying to avoid doing in order to register their new signings. Tbh, that situation is very very complicated. My personal hope is Frankie stays and fecks Barca with their buy now, and pretend we'll pay later trick.

I agree with all of this although Dujon was regularly benched allowing Reece, at RCB, to be paired with Tariq Lamptey at RWB. Jody Morris loved 'Duge' (as he called Sterling) but when he picked his top team Sterling wasn't in it. I don't think this is a major criticism of Dujon because Reece and Tariq are quite good. 🙂

By the way, what surprised me most about the loans that season was that Reece didn't go to Derby. If he had Derby would very likely have been promoted that season instead of being beaten in the playoff final. If so the current situation of the club might be very different.

I think it is just a phase in his career before his breakthrough.
