I think it was to be expected this year with everything that has gone on & our new owner with little to no football knowledge trying to broker deals.

I'd normally say the winter window won't be a big deal, but with a WC happening just before it, it could turn out to be more packed than this window, so we have to have a DoF in place as soon as possible.

I don't think it was expected that Marina, Cech & Co. would up and go at the start of the transfer window.

Their departure might be a beneficial move long term, but if it somehow impacts our transfer window and a top 4 finish this year, then we're going to feel the burn for a lot longer than that.

I'm not worried about top 4 in the slightest. Tuchel is too good a coach to fail at that.
