(@kierangill_DM) Essugo seems to be the new Lavia. Luckily, he wasn't too expensive, but it's a shame he would have been really strong in midfield! With Essugo now back we have 4 fit midfielders plus Reece and Gusto who we have used in there frequently. So what’s the point of this? I think a midfield signing would be 100% necessary if Essugo were to go on loan like initially reported. And if Essugo stays, I wouldn’t be against another player as well because we cannot just rely on only Caicedo, Fernandez, Santos & Essugo for various reasons. Essugo and Santos are still a bit green in terms of PL experience. Caicedo’s playing virtually every game. Fernandez’s position has changed 3 times already too so not sure where Rosenoir sees him used best. We need to stop using James & Gusto in there though. Not viable long term.
