Blue Armour 4,452
1 hour ago, Mário César said: I was thinking about how our team has changed a lot again. Madueke arrived two and a half years ago and he's not here. Nkunku has been here for two years and he's not here. Felxi hasn't either. NJ has also been here for two years and he's already left. KDH hasn't either. Renato Veiga, the same. Petrovic had those months with poch and he's no longer at the club. Even Broja and even Sancho, who were here last year on loan, are no longer here. Madueke, Nkunku, Felix, NJ, KDH, and Renato were here last year and they're no longer here. We've had a big change. When you put it that way, it looks awful. Transfer policy seems like its to throw crap at the wall and see what sticks. And try to make a profit along the way. Tbf, they do get it right at times. Just wish they would take full advantage of this and build up on it with sure fire signings that can elevate the current squad.

nyikolajevics 2,706
Jackson official, he'll be no11 at Bayern. Good luck! Guiu also official to return. Sunderland signed Brobbey anyway, he would have played even less.

If Salah can deliver even half the numbers of last season, I imagine they'll walk the league again. Yeahhh it worked for them last year.. How boring. I just want us to get near..or least go all the way to Wembley and win. Hopefully can least manage that! LAM09

Of course, you never know what will happen, but if we look at the outlook, given the players arriving and the age of the squad, what needs to change next season? I only see the goalkeeper and the center-backs. Otherwise, the attack is new, and many of them are recent. I only see a necessary change if, for example, Enzo Fernandez is sold or something like that. Otherwise, there's nothing to change because they're both recent and young. That's what the management wanted: a new squad that can play together for several years.

Vesper 30,260
the not sorted list Benoît Badiashile is shit and always injured Axel Disasi is shit David Datro Fofana Raheem Sterling Wesley Fofana I am NOT remotely convinced he will ever fully recover to a decent level of both play and injury Tyrique George Gabriel Slonina Mykhailo Mudryk plus the loanees who are not good enough to ever be Chels Sr team: Teddy Sharman-Lowe Brodi Hughes Caleb Wiley Leo Castledine Omari Kellyman (sure looks that way) Jimmy-Jay Morgan Deivid Washington plus Nico Jackson IF the obligation clause is not satisfied Plus our 2 main GKers, Sanchez and Filip Jörgensen, one of whom surely needs to go when Penders comes in OR if we buy a better one (in which case both may go once Penders is ready to at least be the backup to a new GKer) mkh
mkh 616
The George deal has fallen through due to Harry Wilson not joining Leeds. Not CFC's fault. Vesper and Reddish-Blue 1

It's unclear exactly why it collapsed but Fulham already completed the signings of two long-term targets for the wide positions. Yet, the primary reason George's move fell through was he was a contingency option in case Leeds made an offer Fulham couldn't refuse for Harry Wilson. But ultimately no offer arrived and they preferred to keep the Wales international.
Vesper 30,260
Manchester United have moved out three players today who cost them a combined £225m - Jadon Sancho, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund. They have recouped £21.6m for Antony and loan fees for the others... Reddish-Blue

Pizy 18,984
That Bayern kit is horrific looking, goddamn! Of course Jackson and his agent had to get a dig in at Chelsea in their statements. Don’t blame him but it’s still annoying. It’s fine that Nico is upset at how he was treated at the end but he has to remember that it’s 100% down to his own behavior and play that led to this. The red cards, the cynical behavior on the pitch, the constantly fluffing easy chances. He and his agent basically saying “now he’s at a proper club” kind of takes away any sympathy I had for him. Mhsc 1,109
I'm just glad its over. Transfer market is the most soulless, tedious shit in football. The daily tweets about a deal being still ONE TO WATCH. This shit is worse for the game than VAR. Football has got worse every year since around 2010.

You don't set an outgoing transfer record in a season without getting rid of a shit tonne of deadwood. Somehow people are saying Arsenal had a better window than us: - Give me Pedro over Gyokeres - Garnacho is better than Noni - No one here wanted Hincapie but now that he has signed he is good. Pfft. Hato was the better choice. - Essugo is a fantastic backup. How much do you rate Eze and Zubamendi? For me - both average and I'd never take Eze here. We brought in Estevao, Delap and Gittens. I'll take our window considering we sold more, are in the green this transfer window and can spend more next season. zubamendi is a great player and the same for eze. eze is better than gittsen and garnacho, despite they have a lot of potential and eze is already 27 years old but I feel he is a bit overrated
