clown car board

completely fucked up far too many things to call it a great window

bollocksing up the Tyrique deal at the death and then finding out that the obligation clause in the Nico deal has a crazy high amount of appearances needed to make it kick in was the icing on the shit cake

Almost feels like Fulham fucked us over purposely after being so salty about the match. They had deals for like 3 new wide attackers including Tyrique being worked on at the same time and chose the other 2 instead of him.

IF we can prove that they actually did that

then they can be in BIG trouble with the FA and the EPL

Isak to Liverpool is official now. Big transfer window from them.

It feels like they're attack heaving and still have big holes defensively. If Salah can deliver even half the numbers of last season, I imagine they'll walk the league again.

Great window.

You don't set an outgoing transfer record in a season without getting rid of a shit tonne of deadwood.

Somehow people are saying Arsenal had a better window than us:

- Give me Pedro over Gyokeres

- Garnacho is better than Noni

- No one here wanted Hincapie but now that he has signed he is good. Pfft. Hato was the better choice.

- Essugo is a fantastic backup.

How much do you rate Eze and Zubamendi? For me - both average and I'd never take Eze here. We brought in Estevao, Delap and Gittens.

I'll take our window considering we sold more, are in the green this transfer window and can spend more next season.

I think Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal have had better windows than us, whether they finish better than us remains to be seen and maybe not, but we have fallen short in this window and have missed the chance in key areas

So signing Simons, Kudus and Palhinha to a loan is better than our window? lol

Just now, whats happening said:

idk why everyone is bringig up estevao, he was last years business.

Because we couldn't play him the seasons prior...

People are actually upset about Simons not going through when we have Cole/Pedro/Estevao for the middle, Estevao/Neto/Cole/George for the right, Garnacho/Gittens/Neto/George for the left.

You don't go out and buy a 60 mil striker if one of your guys goes down for 6-8 weeks. We had two strikers. You recall one in Guiu, who is exactly the type of cover you need for this kind of situation, and you have the likes of Neto, George, etc if things get super bad.

Are you a troll?

Genuine question.

the window was not so bad

we are in a moment that we overrated rival transferwindows and underrated our transfer window

its normal. Usually the human being see what others have better than what we have

There are those who when stood at the urinals look at where they are pissing ...and there are those checking out what the other guy got...

I was thinking about how our team has changed a lot again.

Madueke arrived two and a half years ago and he's not here.
Nkunku has been here for two years and he's not here.
Felxi hasn't either.
NJ has also been here for two years and he's already left.
KDH hasn't either.
Renato Veiga, the same.
Petrovic had those months with poch and he's no longer at the club.
Even Broja and even Sancho, who were here last year on loan, are no longer here.

Madueke, Nkunku, Felix, NJ, KDH, and Renato were here last year and they're no longer here. We've had a big change.

When you put it that way, it looks awful.

Transfer policy seems like its to throw crap at the wall and see what sticks.

And try to make a profit along the way.

Tbf, they do get it right at times. Just wish they would take full advantage of this and build up on it with sure fire signings that can elevate the current squad.

Yeahhh it worked for them last year..

How boring. I just want us to get near..or least go all the way to Wembley and win. Hopefully can least manage that!

Of course, you never know what will happen, but if we look at the outlook, given the players arriving and the age of the squad, what needs to change next season?

I only see the goalkeeper and the center-backs. Otherwise, the attack is new, and many of them are recent. I only see a necessary change if, for example, Enzo Fernandez is sold or something like that. Otherwise, there's nothing to change because they're both recent and young.

That's what the management wanted: a new squad that can play together for several years.
