Sterling stays

per live Sky

🤮

bury him with the reserves

perma bomb squad

Don't let him anywhere near the reserves. Don't want that toxicity shaping any other players. He can train on his own at the furthest end of the training ground. Give him his own car park, own facilities, total isolation.

Overall I’d give our window a 6.5 or 7 out of 10. Delap, João Pedro, and Hato are all excellent buys for me. We brought in Estevão who looks great already. Santos and Essugo look like they’ll be very useful. So in terms of beefing up our squad with quality depth we’ve done very well.

But the signings of Gittens, Garnacho, and Buononotte are very 50/50 and we won’t know if these are good buys for several months once we’ve seen them play a run of games. No new top keeper, no new top CB. Left ourselves dangerously thin up top after the Delap injury.

Most annoyingly, we KNEW that we needed 1 more difference making attacker and identified both Xavi & later Fermin to fill that role. But after getting every fan so excited we were hamstrung by being unable to sell Jackson.

So overall we bought decently, sold mostly extremely well, improved the squad but didn’t improve it enough, and still have some unresolved issues.

Not amazing, not poor. Just “pretty good” I would say.

Guehi to Liverpool apparently off now!

They could be seriously vulnerable with 1 injury to a CB. They’ve looked super shaky even with VVD and Konate fit. As hard as we will need to pray for João Pedro’s health, Liverpool need to do the same for VVD at age 35 or whatever he is.

Danny Murphy on Talksport is quite unbearable....He just said Liverpool's transfer window was nothing short of sublime, yet he was the one when we bought Caicedo and Enzo screaming for the laws to sanction us, the irony is laughable.

On another note, and I really don't care if people think I am moaning for the sake of it, I'm just stating my feeling and what I think of the shortcomings again. Another window has gone by without a prolific goalscorer, a class keeper that should have been Donnarumma but City have bought two keepers whilst we back and absolute bag of shit every game.

The board have bought well in Pedro as it stands, but we haven't really added enough that makes me think we can cement a top four finish because the failings are still there, and after a day of getting rid of Jackson on loan, fetching back a kid who has done nothing and hasn't even got a CV behind in Guiu, we are still hoping and praying that pedro stays fit and firing, that is not guaranteed.

I think Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal have had better windows than us, whether they finish better than us remains to be seen and maybe not, but we have fallen short in this window and have missed the chance in key areas, I have a feeling we are going to be praying for January again because we have dropped our guard in the summer window.

I stand to be proven wrong but I will be back to say I told you so.

Sadly agree. We can see where the areas where we need fixing and unfortunately still there. I think be top 4 finish but no doubt end up in another battle just because how we roll. Thought start of the seasons its Liverpools to lose and still probably will end up being.

Hopefully we can come away with something though.

lol delap is out for weeks, not for months.

besides, we will have 3 international breaks

We have no idea until the scan has been diagnosed, it's minimum six to eight weeks, then anything can happen with rehab and set backs.

Just to put some emphasis on it and whilst Pedro can play as a 9 he is not a natural 9, the natural nine is Guiu but he's not experienced, has hardly tasted the role in the PL and after him there is nobody, one injury to Pedro I keep saying it
