Wharton will cost twice what Xavi does when he eventually leaves Palace. Definitely not a cheaper alternative.

Simons  by far ticked the most boxes for a fluid 3 behind the CF.

I'd prefer Pedro at CF and Estevao at RAM atleast for now as I think CAM would be too much for him so soon but those 2 plus Santos and Enzo depending on the opposition probably better option to fill in than we going to get so late in the window. Plus with Garnacho now we shouldn't need that CAM that can also play LAM.

Wharton is low key a bit of a baller and flying under the radar (as is Anderson at NFO for example, genuine talent that a top club should have gone for by now) as he genuinely is clearly a talented guy, but again its just squad filler, who cares

I am gutted we have not fixed the key positions in the XI and spending all our energy on this nonsense instead, its all just noise distracting us from the fact the club have failed to invest yet again in the core spine of the team where PLs are won or lost

I'm going to agree with any attempt to sign Rogers and I'm going to talk about the importance of the squad team this season. I've said all of this before so anyone who has read what I have to say about it before won't miss anything if they dip out here.

I see 8 as Rogers optimum position and, given any encouragement by Villa, would certainly attempt to add him to the squad. If signed I would then prefer him over Enzo. For me he matches Enzo's physical attributes and betters our vice captain's technical skills. Even given that Enzo outscored Rogers last season I believe Rogers improves us immediately.

Starting with the game at Lincoln, Enso will obviously hope to use the squad team for appropriate domestic cup matches. Beyond that it would make a massive contribution if he can use them against 'pot 4' CL opponents and even, crucially, in some Pl games either side of big CL fixtures. It's been a key help to Pep over the years that he could rotate heavily and still pile up PL points. If we can give Enso that luxury it will be an important step.

He was linked to Arsenal before they confirmed the Eze deal, then recently he was linked to Spurs.

Btw, what’s going on with Tyrique George? Felt like something was happening last week with Roma and we’ve heard nothing since. Surely he HAS to go with Garnacho now here.

Should keep Jackson in that case as backup striker and use JP as attacking mid. He is good in that role too

Emery is a huge fan of Jackson. It comes down to how financing would work for both teams considering the scrutiny that surrounds us both. Not to mention, the Kellyman deal raised eyebrows to begin with.

Looking out of Simons is a big deal for me, as long as we get the former. Fermin is too much of a gamble, and Wharton isn't an eight. The thought of signing him and pushing Enzo higher permanently would be a massive concern.

Joe Shields is trying to collect all his kids from Man City youth. Up until Gittens it has been a good thing.
