That's more like an Inter/Milan thing. Napoli splash the cash quite often. They were the only one not only wanting Lukaku on loan, and De Laurentiis can be generous when buying, he is tough cookie when selling though.

he had a massive injury before he came here and AFTER we stupidly signed a pre contract in October 2022 and then he got injured right after, in November 2022, plus injured again after he came to us in early August 2023, in preseaon

he has never been the same as before

he is perma-damaged IMHO, or very near it

a shell of the player he was in 2021-22, when he produced 55 total goals (30 goals, 25 assists)

we absolutely NEVER should have bought him once he blew his knee in November 2022

we should have said the pre-contract is null and void

Seriously tho I think Hincape would have more value to us if we didn't have Hato.someone that covers that LB left edge CB in a back 3 role. They the same height but where as Hato has a stronger body,Hincape is like a shorter version of Wes. Same twiglet legs waiting to be snapped.

Would take a lot of money too for someone that may not have a starting role for longer than it takes Levi to recover.

Thats what happens when you sign like 40 players and the first team squad is supposed to be 25. 

What I don't like seeing is players being forced out like Chilwell, Veiga.    Veiga could have played at CB for us this season as a squad player but thats not going to happen and he just adds onto the list of players the club is trying to sell.
