mkh 627
⚪️🔴Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid are both interested in securing the signing of António Silva. (LuisCoelho51) The options for center backs are getting fewer and fewer. Chelsea needs to act fast!!! The alternatives for central defenders are becoming increasingly limited. Chelsea must act quickly. -Ilya Zabarnyi is joining PSG. -Joel Ordóñez is joining Marseille. -Tomás Araújo will not be coming after the drama surrounding Felix's transfer to Benfica Rui Costa!!! -Jarrad Branthwaite has just extended his contract until 2030. -Alessandro Bastoni unfortunately unlikely -António Silva will unfortunately not be coming either after the drama surrounding Felix's transfer to Benfica Rui Costa!!! These players are still available: -Piero Hincapié -Diomande -Marc Guehi -Castello Lukeba is constantly injured and extremely expensive. -Loïc Badé -Giorgio Scalvini had a bad injury and missed almost the entire season. -Zeno Debast -Yann Bisseck -Gonçalo Inácio -Bremer was also injured for almost the entire season. There's an agreement with Clearlake that they rotate the Chairman's job every 5 years.

Unless he has been an absolute idiot with his money this means, among other things, that he has set himself up for life before reaching the age of 28. Not every footballer earns an international cap. Not every man becomes a millionaire. Dom has achieved both. His move to Liverpool has worked out brilliantly for him. He is another Cobham success story, Over the course of two years, he made 27 appearances for Liverpool but only managed one goal. After a poor start to his Premiership career, he has undoubtedly succeeded in establishing himself. But let's not forget that before making the move, he appeared to have the world at his feet after winning the Golden Ball at the U-20 World Cup in 2017. In the eight years since, he has only made three appearances for the national team. He only turns 28 in September, so time is just about still on his side, but at this point, I think most people who saw him breakthrough at the academy or after his exploits at said WC would say they were hoping for more from him. However, I do agree that he's still a Cobham success story, though. Every player who makes a name for themselves in Europe's major leagues should be seen as one. I'd actually also buy a Scottish club...SPL is (at best) basically 2nd tier in England standard but be a decent physical test and weather sorts out the men from the boys. It's only opinion of course but my feeling is that Dom can only have appeared to have the world at his feet from a reading of his stats, rather than from watching him play. He sometimes, but not always, caused Tammy Abraham to be played wide right for the 18s so Dom could go through the middle but he also lost the selection battle quite often. Being brutal, the three caps are probably two more than his level merits so I'd say that he has outperformed his talent in earning them. He did the same again with his outstanding season for Bournemouth. It was out of keeping with the rest of his output. I wouldn't say it was ever obvious that Dom is a Premier League calibre footballer. Maybe the Liverpool move elevated his profile and boosted his career. Without it we might now be talking about him as a decent Championship player. He'd still be making a great living, but not many headlines. If United rush in now and hand Leipzig €75m for Sesko will they then say they want to keep Xavi for another season or until January? Or simply raise his asking price now to something well walk away from? If so we’ll look like absolute fools for negotiating for 2 weeks+ and coming up empty handed over a few million £. kexik

ulvhedin 526
So if everything goes according to rumors (not caring about bomb squad), some positions are fluid: CF: J Pedro, Delap LW: Gittens, Garnacho AM: Palmer, Simons, RW: Neto, Estevao MF: Enzo, Caicedo, Lavia, Santos, Essugo LB: Cucurella, Hato, CB: Colwill, Badiashille, Tosin, Chalobah, Fofana, RB: R James, Gusto, Acheampong GK: Sanchez, Jorgensen, Slonina Out: Nkunku, Jackson, KDH Loan: George, Anselmino Not counting GK it gives us 23 players for 10 positions. Considering Fofana, Lavia and R. James health it's pretty good depth. However even with a lot of games I think some of the forwards will be unhappy with playing time - how to properly split game time between Gittens, Garnacho, Simons, Palmer, Neto and Estevao, also considering that Enzo and Santos can play AM? I get the feeling Jackson is staying. Newcastle is really the final possibility when they miss out on Sesko, I guess. No clubs outside of the PL are going to come near our asking price for him. It remains to be seen if the squad can live up to it but I'm hoping that we can play a rotated team in some PL and some CL fixtures. When I say 'play' I mean while retaining a reasonable expectation of getting results. That is what the spending has been for after all. If we our squad turns out to be good enough to allow this, then there will be lots of games for a lot of players, and not just nonsense, nothing, games either. mkh 627
On the multi-club model: The Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership are understood to prefer a small but mutually beneficial connection - similar to the one between RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg - rather than a bigger model like the 12-club City Football Group, led by Man City.
