Ekitike is very similar to Joao Pedro.

Great technique and a far better finisher than Jackson. 
 

I would be ok with him replacing Jackson but for me… we have to go get Gyokeres or Osimhen now we have CL.

Saw a stat somewhere showing Ekitike has very similar chance conversion to Jackson. And that’s in a weaker league. Apparently he misses a lot of chances and underperformed his xG for whatever that’s worth. 

Again, for me he’s not the striker to come in and be our main man. Not even close yet. He’s someone you have in addition to someone top tier. 

I see he is linked with Liverpool as well. Think he’s more suited to them where he wouldn’t have the bulk of the goal scoring burden on him.

There are a lot of good players potentially moving - Eze, Mbuemo, Rogers. Hopefully the club is doing the work behind the scenes to convince the player and was only waiting to secure CL before getting active.

People here keep mentioning Murillo. But we've just watch Colwill finally start to display some serious growth and leadership as the season has gone on. Murillo is a left footed, left sided CB so wouldn’t make any sense with Levi there.

What we need is a right footed/right sided CB.

my huge doubt is about madueke 

I hope Chelsea offload sancho and mudryk, but about noni I have several doubts 

We will have neto, estevao, palmer and probably madueke.

I like him but I think he is not good enough for long term and if we receive a good offer I think we need to take him and buy another player for his position

departures: nkunku, felix, disasi, badi, fofana, mudryk, sancho and KDH

finally, what will happen with veiga? 

a sales simulation with euros:

nkunku - 40M 

felix - 25M 

Disasi - 10M

Badi - 10M

Fofana - 25M

Mudryk - 25M

KDH - 15M

At least 150M euros that we may receive this summer

I don’t think anyone is taking Mudryk or Fofana after they’ve gone months without playing. We’re almost certainly stuck with both.

Yeah sorry I was just throwing out a couple of random names - what I meant was sign some PL worthy forward / goal scorer asap so we have someone for the CWC, any of the names that are available and ready to move on the spot. Just because at this point I think its reasonable to consider that maybe we need 2 forwards and not 1, with NJ going either out of the squad entirely or being relegated to squad fodder with a lot to prove to get a place back (perhaps on the wing).

I am assuming it will take time to negotiate a deal for an elite forward but we need to add goals to the squad asap really in any form otherwise CWC could be pretty grim and it is a huge prize pool available there

Maybe I am just wrong, but for the same money spent, there seems to be much better options available? Maybe our sporting directors canned speech about the project only works on players that have not reached the top level?
